When I was stationed in Scotland, I dated another sailor on my ship. On board the tender, we never did anything sexual. It was against regs. We’re both Star Trek fans,though, and we ‘kissed’ the way Sarek and Lady Amanda did, by touching fingers. Exactly because it wasn’t sexual. 40 years later we still do this.
