That’s pretty easy. If you don’t believe gods will provide, then nothing you receive could come from gods. If you DO believe and expect divine response, then you’ll interpret whatever happens as God either fulfilling your request, OR God saying ‘no.’

But you’re half right. I don’t want anyone to just TELL me that THor is real, or that Ra exists, or that Amateratsu healed…someone, or that i must obey Ishtar. I want evidence for the claim.
