"It's because there's a lot of money to be made, BILLIONS, by going green these days."
Siemens not only setting up, but expanding on the Wind Turbine production facilities here in Hull; plenty of people in work to share in those 'billions'* generated from something that costs nothing: Wind.
The Joint European Torus Project here in the UK. Once they've perfected what they're researching, there's the untold billions from nuclear fission gone, via such replaced by Fusion power.
I trust you'll remember that, when the oil starts running out, you need the fruits of British innovation, and the trillions start a-rolling in to my country, Davey-boy.
As per mass production, once something becomes plentiful, it becomes cheap; yet profits can still be made. Plenty of Pound Shops here in the UK.
*- And Siemens of Germany clearly know when they're on to a good thing, re. renewable energy, thus not only their creation of those production facilities in my locale, but their further investment - Expansion - in such. In a local news report, a senior exec. of Siemens UK stated that they'd gotten sales contracts from other countries, ergo their expansion. On the coach trip down South very recently, I noticed that from the outskirts of Hull to beyond Doncaster, one could hardly travel by an open stretch of countryside/farmland without at least seeing one wind turbine, so there's clearly profit from Thin Air. I refer you to Air Fuel Synthesis here in the UK, Davey-boy.
