Whatever they feel for each other, it certainly isn't love. Perverted lust is more like it. That's why almost zero percent of gays and lesbians stay together more than a few months -- a year or two at most. They are unhappy and looking for something they won't ever find outside of repenting and turning away from their homosexuality. I will never understand how any man or woman could go against their natural feelings for the opposite sex (because everybody was made heterosexual and designed to be attracted to the opposite sex) and be with someone of the same sex, unless it is just pure rebellion and perversion. And that's why we don't need these people in positions of power or influence any more than we need murderers, rapists, theives, and drug addicts in power. Yes, I know everybody struggles with sin, but to embrace sin and call it normal and right is NOT acceptable. No one was born to be gay. For whatever reason -- childhood abuse or plain rebelliousness -- these people CHOOSE to live this kind of lifestyle, and they CHOOSE to want to be with the same sex. They need help, not encouragement. Allowing them to be government officials, teachers, or in any other position where they can have influence over others is not right.
