Most of the people in this world are championing the gay lifestyle like never before. Where were all the gays 50 years ago? I am sure there were not hoards (like there are today) of gays in the closet during that time so I just can't grasp the high number of gays that are coming out and love being so in our faces.
I am beginning to wonder if this is more of a liberal agenda (they love keeping God in His place) than there are actual true homosexuals.
My goodness, so many are jumping on the bandwagon in their middle years and older after a couple marriages and children. Huh?

I'm pretty sure that's exactly what happened, up until a couple of decades ago being gay was such a taboo that many tried to hide it and act "normal".
If God is so almighty and all-powerful then how can anyone keep him in "his place"? What, do we have some kind of Ghostbusters like containment system for him? Or are gays just his kryptonite?
Or maybe society is just coming to its senses and realizing that gays are people too?

Most of the people in this world are realizing that homosexuals are just like heterosexuals in almost all aspects. Gays no longer have to hide parts of themselves, for fear of being bullied, abused, ostracized or killed.
I know a couple of gays but none of them are the least "in your face". Heterosexuality is much, much more "in your face" in our society.
Most Liberals are also Christians, silly. What about a Socialist agenda; a lot of us don't believe in any gods, and would like to keep them all out of public life.

The concept of "gay lifestyle" is bullshit. A Republican egoist lifestyle is much more plausible than a gay lifestyle.
Some of them may be like me: completely bisexual. But, when they first let themselves realize it, and found they had the freedom, they dived into the other side with gusto. After the 'magic' wears off they'll balance out to a more bisexual evenness.

Actually that's the case. Being gay is not some weird fad like hula hoops, pet rocks & Tamagotchis. It's been around for as long as there have been humans. Not only that, it happens ALL THE TIME in the animal kingdom.

First off, most people in this world do not champion the gay lifestyle. Just take a look at Russia, Uganda, and quite a few countries where Islam is the major religion. Secondly,k 50 years ago, being gay was considered as a mental illness. If you came out as gay, you were "treated" for being sick.

There are just lots more people in the world today, and media allows us to know what more of them are doing.
However, since the odds that a family will contain a gay male go up with every son born to a mother, there probably were lots of closeted gays in the big families of yesteryear. Where do you think the Catholic Church got its priests?
There are many laudable points about being a member of Fundie Club. I'm 56, when I was a kid, my mum's uncle was living with his boyfriend of years as a married couple.
And nobody batted an eyelid either as none of us were religious and had no issues with it.

Well, I guess that gays make a somewhat more comfortable hoard than coins, gemstones and magical items, but it would take a real fuckhueg closet to hold all these gays plus a dragon. And the sensible dragon knows that pillows and mattresses are even comfier, don't have hard/sharp parts like elbows or knees and won't complain that they're being crushed.
