Kind of like science. They seem to change things quite often.
Science is guess work. Kind of like doctors, guess work in a white coat.

Yes, it's guesswork.
But it's educated guesswork. It's making hypotheses, testing them, and accepting what works. Religion is the real guesswork because none of it can be confirmed. None of it can be tested. All of it is faith.

Science, unlike religions, changes as better data becomes available. That's a GOOD thing, Rav.
"Science is guess work."
And the more scientist study and research, the better their "guesses" become.

Yeah, and really smart people who have studied medicine for years and years and have real medical degrees are the ones I want "guessing" about my medical conditions.
I challenge you that from now on, whenever you get anything more serious than the sniffles, you eschew all doctors or other persons who traditionally wear white coats; nurses, medical technicians, lounge singers, etc..
Scientific knowledge accumulates in increments. And yes, modifications are made to reflect new discoveries. Religion, on the other hand, never changes. It is perpetually stupid.

Not that you have to worry about it. The next time you're sick, do what your Bible tells you to do: anoint yourself with oil and have the elders at your Church pray for you.
That oughta work.
Raven55 has never heard the terms "data," "empirically tested," "peer review," or "educated."
He/she also has no idea that science class is not a bunch of students sitting around playing guessing-games (unless you're homeschooled by a fundie).
Really? I happen to be a veterinarian and medicine is NOT about guess work, it's more about following clues and sings and symptoms to diagnosis and then, based on current scientific knowledge, go for an appropriate treatment.
Try again.
Science is constantly changing, but based on evidence and under the most intense scrutiny. You can compare it to faith, which rarely changes, has no basis in evidence, and refuses to submit to scrutiny.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
