[Re: Syrian friendly fire kills scores of Iranian and Hezbollah soliders]
Very cool on God's part! Praise the name of Jesus!

Sound like good news, since Hesbollah and Iran are enemies of freedom, democracy, tolerance, and all of the rest of the practices that make life worth living. Thank. That is a few less of them.

Not terribly fundy, unless you're a fan of Hezbollah or Iran. Of course, the true cause of this would be human stupidity.
I forget, do they believe in free will over at Rapture Ready, or do they believe in predestination? If so, then it looks like In Christ here thinks his deity just violated it.
I'm actually surprised Rapture Ready isn't supporting Hezbollah and Iran, now that they've portrayed themselves as a bulwark against al-Qaeda.
Maybe Iran doesn't hate women enough for their tastes.
Let me get this straight: cheering the killing of people who behead people is wrong, but not a peep about the beheadings and setting people on fire? Oh, it's because Christians said it, that makes it worse than anything.
Yes, because God is an insane rabid knobhead beloved of insane rabid knobheads who love nothing so much as a fevered, ignorance inspired droolfest. Bible God is a sort of poeish sky troll. He is the Lolbeast cloud lounger when He's not being a menacing knobhead.

Maybe you are just too dense to get the point that cheering for the deaths of anyone, and then praising a non existent deity for those deaths, is contemptible regardless of specific religion. Maybe you are just a troll who hasn't bothered to read all the posts by Muslim fundies we have ridiculed and condemned here. Whatever the case may be, in no case should you post such a remark as yours without a name. You just paint yourself as a coward.
I know I have a reputation for picking people up wrong on here, but I'm amazed at the infighting going on between commenters on this thread.
For me, the shocking statement of the OP was an instant WTF moment, and I cannot imagine how the loving message of Christianity leads or allows people to take this attitude to other human beings. Maybe he's an "Old Testament Christian" who prefers passages such as the wholesale, God-ordered slaughter of the Whateverites (can't remember the name of the ethnic group) and appreciates that the smashing of the babies' heads against rocks was perfectly OK because God ordered it.
Another thought... the Syrians in charge of the weapons weren't very careful were they? Or perhaps their loyalties were not in line with those of their military commanders... which shows what a real mess Syria is, politically, and sectarianly (if such a word exists).

Or, you know, maybe cheering for the death of people just isn't right regardless of who they are. Besides, are you claiming every last Iranian soldier is evil? Not one of them is simply "fighting for his country"? Not one of them is a normal human being with a family to feed? How do you know the specific individuals involved in the incident beheaded anyone?
And no, I don't care that this is a Christian saying this any more than I care what your religion is (if you have any). You're both wrong.
I don't even understand how someone can cheer on a friendly fire, even if the forces are not very sympathic, and saying God is praised by these deaths.
This attitute is like the ones of the people you hate, that is, Fundamentalist Muslims.
[Re: The beheadings of Libyan Christians by affiliates of ISIS]
Very cool on Allah's part! Praise the name of Muhammad (pbuh)!
In Muhammad
Edit: D'oh, I realise that my post has stark resemblances to Mister Spak's.
I agree, it's majorly cool that your god supposedly intervenes to kill people pointlessly just because his fan club doesn't like their politics. Just as cool as the Rwandan genocide!
What's that you say? 'Cool' is not actually a synonym for 'completely sickening and fucked up beyond belief'? Sorry, my bad ...
I think if god actually existed, these people probably wouldn't go to heaven. like if i was Jesus, i wouldn't want these people in my house for 5 minutes, yet alone eternity.
This is what these RR people are. No sense, no historical context, no political or cultural understanding at all.
Because that stuff takes effort. Whereas RightWing Christianity demands only that you hate. I'm no Islam booster but they aint all now nor ever been all the same. Just as most Christians (I hope, and I believe so) cringe at that comment.
@whatever
I hope there's fucking infighting and condemnation over there on shit sentiments like this. That's a good thing, we can only hope some of them see this unreasonable vile hatred and call for a change or at least, quit using your God of peace (supposedly) name to pile on misdirected racist hate.
Confused?
