There are several documented and currently taught laboratory experiments that accurately portray the events in Genesis in sequential order...
This is from the article. Notice that "several documented and currently taught laboratory experiments" just mean that 'stuff was written down' and 'stuff is told to people'. Boy I'm sold! Peer-Review, Schmeer-Review!
Wasn't there something that someone said about hearing the echo of god's voice in space from when he 'spoke' the universe into being?
NotMe, you're missing something even more obvious. Sound requires matter, hell, it's a meaningless concept without it. Similarly, sonoluminescence takes place in water. If this guy's assertions are correct, there had to be water pre-existing in order for God to speak into it and create sonoluminescence, ie light. This would imply that water was not created by god, hence god did not create the entire universe.
"Some of my teachers are like, 'That's complete hogwash,'" he said, "while others say, 'That's pretty interesting.'"
They're both saying the same thing, just in a different tone.
Wait till he has to actually defend this.
You know, it's one hell of a leap in logic to start with the assumption that magnetic fields are the "Holy Spirit."
No experiment that begins with such a wild leap can ever be deemed in any way, shape, or form to be "science."
"Some of my teachers are like, 'That's complete hogwash,'" he said, "while others say, 'That's pretty interesting.'"
Well, at least some of them are being honest with you. I hope the ones who say it's "interesting" are just doing so because they're too polite to laugh in your face. I really do hope so, because otherwise they are as big an embarrassment to the state of Kentucky as you are, Sammy.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
