[Several Louisiana high school students were sent home from their prom for wearing dresses that were too revealing.]
Bro. Randy: First, they should not have been going to prom anyway.
How bad could it be if they did not meet a public school dress code?!?!?!
Mrs. Debbie:One would think that if they had a school dress code for Prom that they would require the girls to try on their dresses for dress check BEFORE the Prom! That would alleviate what happened that night.
Of course, getting rid of Prom all together would definitely solve that problem! LOL
AprilMayJune:Amen!!! I absolutely hate prom season! That's all anyone talks about, and it is so boring. I personally find it a waste of time, money, and effort. The dresses they wear are so revealing sometimes it's almost like they are paying big dollars for someone to sew them a few scraps of sparkley cloth together. Sometimes in class I see girls flipping through prom magazines looking at dresses and the majority of them show off stuff. We have posters in (public) school that say "Prom do's and don'ts" The do's aren't that much different from the don'ts. And I don't see how they figure out how to get a dress that is "appropriate" because the do's and the don'ts are both extremely revealing. I say let's just do away with prom altogether.
