Even if your stupid point meant anything, which it does not, your larger point of babies being atheists is not even true.
Thousands of accounts (See the research of Dr. Ian Stephenson) of children age 1 to 5 show memories of past lives, and in some cases, time in heaven before returning. They gradually forget. But as babies, they would definitely be theists.
"I rejoice that you reveal these things to babes, but keep them hidden from the learned and the wise." - Jesus Christ

That quote by Jesus Christ sounds sinister and disturbing for some reason.
As for so-called memories of past lives... since when is a 1-year old capable of the level of speech required to communicate that sort of thing?
Yeah, hey wait a minute. Where in the Bible does it talk about past lives, reincarnation, and stuff like that?
"I rejoice that you reveal these things to babes, but keep them hidden from the learned and the wise."
In other words "Great for picking up chicks in a tavern, not so great on people with brains"
Age 1 to 5? Let's see. Until age of about 18 months-two years- no talking at all. About age 2 and half to 3- enough brains to tell you what you want to hear. Age 3 to 5 (until about 7 or 8)- believe and uncriticaly accept whatever you tell them, including but not limited to Santa Clause, Boogey Man, Easter Bunny.
So, do you have any more proofs?
Children have vivid imagination. They gradually grow out of it. As children are more gullible than adult, they also tend to believe in several imaginary beings, like Santa Clause, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, Jesus, Hansel and Gretel among others.
I can't find Ian Stephenson in Wikipedia... Oh, I did find a Stev enson. (Tut-tut, names are to be spelled with care, dear.)
"was a proponent of several pseudoscientific ideas". Doesn't sound like anyone I want to trust with my, or my childrens', psyche.
"But it is appointed unto man once to die."
Your own Bible says that reincarnation doesn't happen.
Please, keep your stupidity hidden from the learned and wise, as your god commands.
My three year old nephew distincly told me of where he "used to live" and how he went "Boating when mom and dad got maried".
Of course, both are completely made up, just like your crap. It's what kids do.
@ Thinking Allowed:
You're right of course. Reincarnation is not part of the bible so, therefore, ergo and even an ipso facto, these babies with past life memories are really possessed by the spawn of hell and are trying to throw doubt on the wholly scrabble, I mean scripture. Can we do a baby exorcism? Maybe I should ask over at Deliverance Ministries...
It almost worked with those demonic forgeries called dino fossils, so - reincarnation must be Satan's latest ploy to dupe the sheeple...I mean faithful.
According to the "Blue letter Bible" your quote doesn't exist, so I guess you're going to hell for lying for Jeebus.
And isn't it funny how these kids seem to have memories that go along with whatever religion their parents believe in? And since when is Reincarnation in the bible?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
