I think the case could be made, though I’m not sure I’ve made it on this program, that the sexualization of our children in public schools through the radical homosexual movement is really just a cousin to softening children up with sexual information way before they’re ready for it in order to prepare them for sexual activity, for predators. That’s what I think is happening in our public schools.

Informing children about a topic that will be a big part of their lives before puberty slaps them in the face is not setting them up for predators. Education lets them in on the facts so they can hopefully make better decisions when they're young and stupid.
It's leaving in the dark that opens them up to being taken advantage of.

That’s what I think is happening in our christian schools.
What sexualization? What radical homosexual movement?
I would guess that what they are doing in schools is to WARN kids about predators, and teach them about different kinds of sexualities. At the appropriate age (shortly before puberty) they are also teaching kids about what sex is and how to protect yourself and your partner from unwanted pregnancy and STDs.
None of that is softening anyone up for anything, or sexualizing anyone (their hormones do that fine on their own, stupid), but to present the kids with KNOWLEDGE about themselves and their bodies. Knowledge that they have a RIGHT to receive.
Schools acknowledging that gay people exist is sexualizing children and making them predator bait? Okay. If that's really what you think I don't even know what to flippin' say. Because, no, you cannot make that case.
Well, public school sex-ed DOES perpare kids for sexual activity. It helps them avoid diseases and unwanted pregnancies, and it may teach them not to victimize others different from themselves. You know, the stuff many parents avoid until it's too late.
Should be done at home, could be done at home, but parents such as you are too stupid, uncomfortable and lazy to do it.
Yup. That's totally it. It's most definitely not to let our children know what will happen when they reach "that age," and how to be responsible should they choose to have sex. And it most definitely isn't to dispel common myths (like you can't get pregnant if it's your first time, or masturbation will make you go blind) and giving sound education from an accredited health professional. No it's because when a kid sees a picture of a penis (No matter how nonsexual it might be...trust me, Sex Ed is NOT meant to be titillating), that kid will suddenly become so enthralled by it that the kid will be powerless to resist when s/he sees a real one.

Sorry Sandy, but if you do not teach children so that they can protect themselves YOU are softening them up for the predators...
Why do so many on the Right work so hard to empower paedophiles?
I have two explanations for this attitude.
1. Knowledge is power, while sex is dirty. Fundies want to keep children in a state of purity, innocence, and naiveté so fundy adults can maintain their control. Ergo, they fight sex education.
2. Fundy parents are embarrassed when their children know more than they do, so they fight all education (but especially sex ed, because sex is so dirty).
So make that case to the best of your ability, In the absences of any actual evidence other than unsupported personal assertion that 1) children are be sexualized ins schools and 2) that this sexualization is a consequence of some specualtive radical homosexual movement this may be difficult, however.
Tornadoes? Blame the gays.
