Well, we had a case here last year shortly after the Philando Castile shooting and about 10 miles away, where a black 2-year-old was shot and killed during a drive-by shooting. The police responded immediately, but for some reason, no one saw anything. No one was ever arrested and the case went cold. There were no protests about the child's death, maybe because everyone was upset about the Castile incident. Black Lives Matter was conspicuously silent.
As much as I hate wetware, she's right. Especially if you are having a mental crisis. I tell people not to call 911, but to take me to the hospital themselves if they can. I've dealt with shite police in those situations (because they come before ambulances in mental health cases), and it was more anxiety producing than the event I was going through. Also, I'm black, so I avoid cops by default.
@mailingspan.
Race of the cop means nothing. They are instructed to act a certain way, and are required to do so regardless of their race.
You can understand the sentiment, especially in the South. far too many mindless or cowardly shootings, yes most cops are probably doing their best but there are not only lots of racist cops there are also chiefs that encourage that.
Well that certainly is convenient. Normally when I want a "racist fucking muderer" (by which I assume is a 'muderer' who fucks racists...not my fetish, but hey, to each their own.)I have to check out three stores! But now there's a delivery service? Why am I only learning about this on FSTDT?
Note:
Memes are seldom absolutes
Nothing says they have to be, very much like Cliches
Having said that
There's also nothing wrong with dissing
Oh well, whatever, never mind
I must have done something completely wrong, then. The one time I had to call 911 they sent an ambulance instead of a police car, and neither of the men who came in it were racists or fucking muderers.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
