NO it is NOT possible to get out of Hell once you are there no matter what religion you are. In God's word he likens "SALVATION" TO BEING 'BORN AGAIN'. He even compares it to a baby in it's mother's womb and he says, can a baby who has been born come back into it's mother's womb? Well, I ask you--can a person who has already turned God down and gone to Hell turn around and go to Heaven? No!

Okay, Susan, first thing is you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. God did not compare it to a baby in its mother's womb. It was someone that asked Jesus if a person had to enter his mother's womb again when Jesus was telling a group of people that a person must be born again. They were confused by what he was saying. Read your damn book before you try telling someone what's in it.
Second, you must prove to me and a lot of other people that God exists, that the Bible is his word, and that hell is real. Good luck with that.
@The Apostles' Creed
I Believe in God, the Father almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried: He descended into hell, the third day He arose again from the dead ... But he's daddy's boy. He gets to break the rules.
What a douchebag...
Oh, and you're analogy there, while possibly not meant to be racist, can easily be conceived as such. Watch where you put your foot while your mouth is open.
"NO it is NOT possible to get out of Hell once you are there no matter what religion you are."
According to the Bible, that is true. According to the reasonable, intelligent people, hell is a delusion.
"In God's word he likens "SALVATION" TO BEING 'BORN AGAIN'."
So what? In STTNG you will be 'BORG AGAIN.'
"He even compares it to a baby in it's mother's womb and he says, can a baby who has been born come back into it's mother's womb?"
No.
"Well, I ask you--can a person who has already turned God down and gone to Hell turn around and go to Heaven? No!"
According to much of the NT all that is required to get into heaven is to repent one's sins and believe Jesus is one's savior. According to "Paul's" epistle to the Hebrews, once one is an apostate, one can never be saved again. Then again, I think it is in John where it is said that "with God, all things are possible." As usual, the Bible authors can't get their stories straight.
The Bible says punishment in hell is eternal, so if one believes this theology, I guess once one is actually in hell it's forever.
So... angels can get kicked out of heaven, but no one ever gets out of hell?
It seems to me that, given an infinite amount of time, this practically guarantees that everyone (except, perhaps, god) ends up in hell, eventually.
And, of course, since if you go to hell, you spend forever in hell, any amount of time you spend in heaven is neglibible. So, essentially, everyone just goes to hell. Great religion you've got there.
See, if I went to the hell you're describing, I'd fucking fight my way out, leaving a trail of broken, bloody demons in my wake, claw my way out of my grave, and live forever.
He even compares it to a baby in it's mother's womb and he says, can a baby who has been born come back into it's mother's womb?
So this whole "Born Again" stuff is...well, ...stuff.
Or as we say in Swahili, bubububullshit.
try actually reading your bible. where does it say the judgement is made of people ?
thats right , at the final judgement, where all dead are raised (zombie apocolype ?) and the unworthy are cast to final death in the lake of fire.
First off, didn't Jesus descend into hell and leave again?
Secondly, so your god is a complete psycho. Oddly, this is roughly what I think of your god but probably not the argument you wanted to make.
While fundamentalists think "born again" means something I'm here to tell you your born once and your stupid "born again" is just a metaphor for saved, salvation or committed to Jesus.
It's a get outta jail card free as in "I was a right bastard before coming to Christ, commiting wrongs against so many people. I did terrible things, hurt so many people before my salvation. My sins were a hundredfold, my life one of destruction, hate and violence before I was saved. Now I am born again and live for Christ"
Bullshit, and one needs to note being born again means commiting to Christ, not repairing what damage you've wrought, not apologizing to the people but laying it all on lip-service to the scapegoat called Christ. It's a cop-out.
Many have been posted here who have had to repeat their little born again performance after falling of the God-wagon again, means nothing to them and shouldn't to anyone else.
They coined it years ago to have something that made them better than the other Christians, it's a fundie thing, and it's obvious that it seldom changes their stripes.
I, in fact trust born again people less, every megachurch preacher disgraced and removed (and there's many of them) were born againers, and they have been born again since.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
