I can no longer watch any movies that I used to enjoy, because they are saturated with wickedness and blasphemy. Every other sentence takes the holy Name of God in a dismissive, disrespectful, profane way. I read somewhere that all HELLywood movies are Jewish, and the Jews (NOT all) who produce and direct them all hate Jesus Christ with a passion. There's a red flag right there. In fact, I don't recall ever seeing a movie that didn't curse in God's Name. So what are we watching? Filth, smut and Godlessness.
This country needs to repent and get right with God. Otherwise, judgment will fall, and you can't blame God for our punishment. We get what we deserve.

KJVW, I'm sure that Holly wood won't miss your money. I'm also sure that Holly wood doesn't care about what you or your god thinks.
Of course there are plenty of Christian movies out there you can watch, but they're poorly written and have crappy special effects. But hey, they won't insult you or your god.
Jesus? That "nice Jewish Boy"?....

....the guy you allegedly worship as a literal Avatar of the HEBREW Deity?
@Thinking Allowed
Today's religious films have long gone beyond those glorious days of Cecil B DeMille. Even the ones that are good (from a technical standpoint) have a strictly niche appeal or have elements that make people go "WHAAAA?"....
* The Passion of the Christ might be well-made but it dwells too much on the explicit gore of Jesus torture, may have antisemitic elements and was produced by a former Hollywood A-Lister who's since revealed himself as a hateful abusive crank.
* Noah was a weird film that had Noah enlisting the help of rock-golems to build his ark. While golems are a part of Jewish folklore, the Bible mentions nothing about them.
....Heck; The only modern recent-ish religious film that was good was the 1990s early Dreamworks animated feature The Prince of Egypt.
Jesus was a Middle Eastern Jew you numpty.
And I'm pretty sure God is much less offended by people saying "oh my god" then people like you are, pearlclutcher1965.
So you can't blame god (because you deserve punishment) but you can blame the Jews? Come on, if you're going to take the blame, take the blame, wuss.
I read somewhere
You can't even remember your source for that information, but you know it's absolutely true, because you read it there? Ah, yes, of course.
Well, I read somewhere that God absolutely loves Hollywood movies with a passion and that all those Jews produce the films to please him.
Fine, then. You sit around in your tacky living room, with your paintings of jeebus & velvet Elvises & watch those Kirk Cameron disasters or any of those other ghastly christian cinematic abortions that call themselves "films", because you're terrified of divine retribution for watching a movie, & I'll continue to watch the fun movies without fear.
Side note- We are Venom.
Despite what the critics may be saying, check this one out if it's your flavor.
" I read somewhere that all HELLywood movies are Jewish"
I read somewhere that jews eat Christian babies because they hate Jesus Christ with a passion.
Theres a fallacy in there somewhere.
"I can no longer watch any movies that I used to enjoy, because they are saturated with wickedness and blasphemy."
So, what changed?
You used to enjoy these movies, was it because they weren't actually filled with blasphemy? Or has your outlook been changed by being saved?
You really gotta wonder, have your eyes been opened or closed by these new revelations? This info you 'read somewhere,' either the source wasn't that important, so you don't remember, or ALL your information comes from the same source, and you don't want to admit it.
Pretending lots of people are talking about this one guy's bullshit makes it seems like a grassroots movement, not a cult.
HOLLYwood is about making money, and entertaining people, not about religion.
Jews don't hate Jesus Christ, they just disregard him as not being the Messiah, as he doesn't fulfill all the terms in the Bible. According to them, he was just a Jew like them.
You hating Mohammad with a passion doesn't mean that the Jews have to hate your equivalent to Mohammad with a passion. The red flag is only in your mind, Sily.
A lot of people curse in gods' names, it's not specific to Hollywood.
Your god needs to repent and get right with humans, and you need to not judge, lest ye be judged.
you can't blame God for our punishment. We get what we deserve.
Sure we can. Who is omnipotent? Who created the universe and sinful humanity? Who decides what is a sin and what isn't? And who is handing out the disproportionate retribution without due process or fair hearings?
Oh right, your God.
God "Why do you make me hit you?"
In our society the government can't just set fire to people, not even heinous criminals. And these aren't even heinous criminals, but people that make and distribute movies that said God might find offensive because they don't kiss his ass. And yet you say he's going to torture and kill not only those people who offend, but everyone around those people along with people who had nothing to do with it?
Fuck you and your God. How's that for a "dismissive, disrespectful, profane way."
@ K
I can almost kind of relate to this person, although it's hard to tell if their situation is similar to what I went through (the acceptance of antisemitic bullshit makes me think that they might very well just be a dick). I have severe anxiety, and when I was younger that tended to bleed over into my religious beliefs. You still enjoy things that you "shouldn't", but you can't really enjoy anything, because you're afraid that it might somehow get you sent to Hell. It's just godawful, and even stuff that would be innocuous even by the standards of most conservative Christians starts to bother you.
In my case, I recognized that my thoughts were unreasonable long before I left my religion entirely, and I sought help. There's no way to live like this person believes that they should without eventually falling into severe depression. That is, again, unless you're just a dick. Which they very well might be.

That's how it's been ever since I hit my head on a doorframe in my bathroom a little over eight years ago; I was seeing an episode of Get Smart on DVD prior to it happening, and I went back to get my mother's phone, and as I was running back, that's when it happened. Ever since, almost everything I've tried to enjoy on DVD (sex/violence level irrelevant, type irrelevant, classic/current irrelevant, B/W or color irrelevant) has been met with cries of "Immoral!" (possibly the voice of Ralph Sexton, Jr., a TV preacher from Asheville, NC whom my mother listens to regularly). I mean, stuff from way back when (like The Fugitive, classic 1963-67 ABC series w/the late David Janssen) has been deemed in my conscience to be just as much the immorality as today's stuff generally is.
Granted, those cries have gotten weaker over time, but for a while, I felt fearful that I would be hellbound for watching practically anything (let alone being left behind and missing the Rapture and having to suffer in the Tribulation)!
Confused?
