(The Rapture):
I think is it so near I worry I'll be cooking when it happens and the house will burn down. Although, in a sense that could be viewed as a metaphor for things to come.

If you don't accidentally burn your house down can I have it?
And if you do, can I toast marshmallows at the fire?
So...a major concern of yours is that, when you are Raptured away, you might accidentally cause your house to burn down due to leaving a pot on the stove, or something to that effect? Wow....you really understand how the afterlife works, don't you?
Bah, that's nothing. What if you were raptured while in the bathroom? Or, worse yet, while having sex reproducing! Nothing like standing with your pants down before the Lord.
Why would it matter if your house burned down? Unless you were planning to come back?
These idiots don't even know how to get their own fantasies in a row.
Edit:
She's one of the biggies over at RR. She knows what her name means, but she thinks it's "cute" because people in her own life have given her this nick-name from her constant rapture rambling. In fact I believe her own husband is one of the people who call her chicken little.
THAT'S NOT A METAPHOR! Foreshadowing at best!
I'm thinking that we need to start an organization that accepts the cash, possessions and real estate of these Rapture fundies since us sinners are going to be the only one's left. Donate now! don't let your house go to waste! Gays and atheists need your stuff!
1. It's called foreshadowing
2. I foresee you moronically watching a televangelist preach about the rapture.
a. You're speaking in tongues and rolling on the floor and embarassing your religion
b. As you're watching TV, you remember your were making popcorn.
3. Meanwhile, your house burns down.
4. Nobody is raptured.
This is unusually delusional, even for a fundie. CL expects the eventual burning of CL's house (due to failure to tend, due to rapture occurring) to serve as some kind of omen to the rest of the world : "You're next!"
I wouldn't consider people with such a weak grip on reality competent to sharpen a pencil, let alone own a house or cook. While I'm pretty sure the O/P is a troll, given the name, Poe's law definitely comes into play. We have all seen real fundies on this board plenty of times with this exact attitude, every bit as crazy as the apparent parody we have here; comments treating the O/P like the real thing are thus valid.

Well, now it's 2 and a half years later.
Is your dinner still in the oven?
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
