"The only way we can know anything at all is to either be omniscient, or to have revelation from someone who is omniscient. Either the Christian worldview is true, or it is impossible to know that anything is true."
When asked by Pontius Pilate 'What is Truth?', Jesus couldnn't answer.
Now, according to you right-wing fundies, Jesus = God, correct? As per the whole 'Trinity' bollocks. And - as per the Borg in "Star Trek" and the Nestor in "Battle Beyond the Stars" - are a gestalt linked group intelligence; what one knows, all know.
So the very basis of your entire religion - the 'Trinity', Father, Son & Holy Spook - is completely destroyed, if one part of that doesn't know what at least the main one - the 'Father' - does (and at least a Borg drone knows what the Queen does!).
If your J-man isn't 'omniscient' enough to be able to know how to define 'Truth', then he's not part of the 'Trinity' hivemind (a la the Borg/Nestor), therefore he's not God, ergo even 'God' by definition doesn't exist. Q.E. and D., bitches. No Babel Fish required. [/Douglas Adams]
Simple. Logic. [/James T. Kirk]
...oh, and isn't it strange, how - even in the 'inspiring' of his ghost writers of his 'Word' - he wasn't 'inspiring' said Bronze Age goatfuckers with ideas above their stations enough to at least give an Oxford English Dictionary-esque definition of 'Truth', eh?!
The real killer, though?:
'What's true, is true for you'
-L. Ron Hubbard, Founder of $cientology
2+2=5, according to Big Brother, O'Brien & the Inner Party in "1984". Five lights, according to Capt. Picard's Cardassian interrogator.
According to them, 2+2=5, and there being five lights (when there were clearly four) = Truth.
So - as per Pilate to Jesus - What IS Truth?
I know the answer, which is in two parts:
1- When even a kindergarten child - with two toys, and you then give him/her two more - knows what the factual answer to 'How many toys do you now have?' can result in unimaginable repercussions to what even 'Truth' represents. 2+2=5. Five lights.
2- The only, ultimate truth of the universe:
'We're all gonna die.'
-Billy Sole (Sonny Landham), "Predator"
Seems then, that Sci-Fi can do extremely easily what even your J-man - supposedly 'God' - can't.
Moral: 'Truth' is subjective. As per L. Ron Hubbard. Fact - as in Reality - is Objective. Now try and contradict Reality. Science doesn't know absolutely everything, but it knows infinitely more than even your 'God' - as per Jesus & Pilate - never mind the likes of you.
We Atheists are intellectually/educationally superior to you & your ilk, Jason.
