Estimating by the report, Russia has been plotting this for perhaps years. They have established absolute military domination over Ukraine, and by proxy, I am assuming every other satellite nation that formerly had Soviet allegiance.
On the bad side: Russia is ready to kill a lot of people to make this happen, including anyone who interferes. China does not seem to be in as much in agreement as silently complicit or "turning the other way and whistling" as if they have no idea what's going on.
On the good side (sort of): Gog is out in full effect and is starting to take over countries in true tribulation fashion, meaning our departure is getting painfully close. If the world is this morally, politically, and militarily insane, and the tribulation hasn't even started.....that can only mean the actual tribulation is so much worse than I pictured, and I have a VERY vivid imagination.
Point blank, alot of people could die pretty soon that don't need to. Gog is unleashed and in full arrogance, emboldened by demons. This is our world, and we are soon not to be in it.

DO you realise that Gog was going to attack Israel any minute now - in 1983? Gog seems to be taking its own sweet time starting the whooshfest.
You do know that this is the second time in hundred years that Russia (or Soviet) has grabbed Crimea, right? How come "your departure" wasn't painfully close in 1921?

Not perfect, But forgiven, you are right, the world is no longer yours. But be of good cheer, soon you will be flying off to where there will be daily genocides every breakfast, lunch and supper and gold trinkets galore just casually strewn all about.
You won't have a TV set, but you will have a hellovision set in order to watch the eternal torture soaps, though I'm told it can get a bit repetitive and boring after the first billion or so years.

Gog is NOT Russia. The Old Testement writers had never heard of Russians, never encountered Russians, and depending on who you ask, God and Magog are either supposed to be giants or a nation of barbarians that is supposed to attack Jerusalem a thousand years after Christ returns. Either way you can't apply the prophecy to current events.
The whole situation is hilarious. Putin's excuse for grabbing Crimea isn't far removed from Hitler's for taking over Czechoslovakia. But I think the US might want to avoid lecturing him on the immorality of invading to accomplish your ends.

Hitler made the excuse to take over Czechoslovakia because of extreme nationalism. The Crimeans on the other hand, voted on a referendum due to the change in Kiev's government. When those rats made speaking Russian illegal and made declarations of "hanging the Crimeans" (not to mention the fact that they want to take away the autonomy of the Republic of Crimea according to their program), can you really blame them?
Hmmm... maybe it's a good idea to get all the Xtians equating Russia with Gog and demonic power.
I wouldn't be surprised if Russia had been plotting to get the Crimea for years, even though I've seen no credible evidence that the ethnic Russians who colonized the area are in any danger, and there never was any threat of the naval base being taken away.

Perhaps you could give us chapter and verse on the law criminalizing use of the Russian language. Of course, there can be nothing wrong with a hastily-arranged referendum under the aegis of an occupying power. Especially when, a few decades ago, the Russians imported hundreds of thousands of their own people after forcibly deporting many of the people who lived there. 96.77% approval? With separate ballot boxes so everyone can see who voted "no"? Ah, nothing can beat a good old Soviet election. Next stop, Moldova. Or is this the "last territorial demand in Europe"?
Y'all and your goverments (including Canada) need to take another look at the map and the Ukraines history. The whole thing resembles your American Civil War more than any coup or invasion.
When did we accept America invading anyplace they want under the lamest pretence but bordering countries with like histories and peoples can't "interfere" with each other?
Also America better watch it with that "we don't accept their voting system as legit" after buying W in twice. Reminds me of when a Canadian MP critisized a country limiting a language use when Quebecs been doing it to English for years, he was rightfully told to mind his own house before ever grandstanding again.
Starts from a not-so-false analysis(though he forgets (1)those morons in Kiev were stupid enough to give Putin the perfect pretext, & (2)the EU did everything possible not to get Ukraine in its own zone of influence)
but Gog? Hell, that's just standard, XIXth century fashioned "diplomacy". Nothing biblical in there.
