Question: Creationists, you do know what the scientific term "theory" means right?
Fundie answer: there is a theory of creationism! if you dont believe it you go to hell.. this is verifiable -> it is written in the bible, the written word of God. Hence, evolution is phoooey.

BAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
*ahem* Poe
Translated answer: No. Now let me demonstrate that fact, and immediately afterwards use circular logic to verify an implicit threat of damnation and use that as proof of creationism.
Analysis: Too perfect...this has to be a Poe...just has to be...
"this is verifiable -> it is written in the bible,"
Can you give us some better sources? Some reliable sources?
Oh, it gets better..

In common usage, the word theory is often used to signify a conjecture, an opinion, a speculation, or a hypothesis. In this usage, a theory is not necessarily based on facts;
Thanks for playing now go stick your head back in the sand!!!

"it is written in the bible, the written word of God."
Unfounded statement summons Unverifiable conclusion!
It's super effective!
Phooey? How, ahem, mature. We must take this literary geniuses profound words to heart and learn from them.*
*Well, learn how NOT to argue on the internet.

This is true, but it arises out of the gross misunderstanding people have of the actual scientific definition. It is the result of ignorance, and it is continually perpetuated by more ignorance. In any case, it does not address the OP's question, since he was asking about the scientific term, not the ignorant laymen's idea of what it means.
In point of fact, asshole, belief in creationism is not a condition of salvation.
If you're going to spout your insane bullshit, read your own fucking books.
"Theory" means an idea with some supporting evidence.
"The written word of God" is bronze-age phooooey. No evidence at all for the bombastic claims therein. A spurious claim does not, and can not, prove itself.

Shocking. Some words have more than one meaning. And the same can be said by you hurling the unintended meaning at something to misrepresent it, too, y'know.
[this is verifiable...]
Then verify it.
@Pagnostic: "What purpose does Yahoo answers serve?"
It's a miniature black hole, intended to counteract the one the new super-collider is gonna create when it's powered up this fall.
Finally, coherent fundie logic. I will disregard all the Dawkins that I have been reading.
