Pastor John Hagee is a true man of God, he is controversial because he speaks the truth, which most people, even some Christians can not accept. Everything that some people have said about Pastor John Hagee have been debuked. Pastor Hagee is not even in the same world as Mr. Wright, it is just the left leaning media trying to make something out of nothing. We Christians should have discernment, all of us need to trust in it, trust in the word of God, trust in the Holy Spirit.

Thought is difficult, and frightening because it brings you to reconsider yourself and your actions and beliefs, so you would rather dig yourself a grave and hide in that cold, damp hole until you die, and your greatest desire is for everybody else to die with you, because you cannot tolerate the thought that others actually enjoy life while you wallow in your own misery, too cowardly to actually do something about it.

hagee isnt the same as wright. McCain did not attend sermons by hagee, or identify himself as a member of his church. Just cos some batshit insane fundie endorses someone doesnt means the endorsee shares his views. With wright tho, it was obama that was endorsing him as a pastor.

I’m an atheist. I think anyone who devotes their entire lives to a religion is delusional. So, I expect preachers to say ridiculous things. That’s my bias.
I took the time to read/view just about everything available about Rev. Wright. And I’ve viewed/read just about all I could stomach of Pastor Hagee.
Rev. Wright has made a few statements critical of the United States. Pastor Hagee is consistent in his condemnation of EVERYONE who doesn’t share his narrow, perverted, hateful, evil world view including the "Secular Liberal States of America".
Rev. Wright decries the faults in our society. Pastor Hagee calls for war and is, as John McCain once said, “an agent of intolerance”. Rev. Wright has never been involved in a financial/moral scandal. Hagee has. I’m also pretty sure that Rev. Wright wouldn’t endorse someone who has been vocal in criticizing his Faith for political reasons. Hagee endorsed McCain simply to prevent a woman, a black man, or any Dem. from winning the election. I could go on for hours, but, those are the big ones.
Based on my research I have come to a conclusion. I would trust Rev. Wright to manage my affairs or care for my children. I wouldn’t trust Pastor Hagee within 100 yards of my kids or my wallet. Pastor Hagee is the one who’s whole existence is devoted to hateful, “unamerican”, goals.
Replace all instances of Pastor John Hagee with Jeremiah Wright in the above passage (and vice versa), and the word "left" with "right" and you have an equally defensible opinion, that just happens to be more grounded in reality.
