He is talking about 1.6 billion persons. Um, if Islam itself were more dangerous than other religions, then we'd be seeing a LOT more terrorism...and no, even the some 16 000 incidents I've clocked over the past five years would be as nothing compared to what would hapoen if being Muslim were the equivalent of being opposed to everything we stand for in the West.
What about the Western Muslims I've seen risk their own lives and the lives of their families by calling bullshit on DAESH, or for speaking against the Iranian government, etc? Don't they count for something?
If we start deciding [x] deserves to die, and then become self-styled executioners, we're no better. In fact we're worse for ever having claimed the high ground. They could rightly point at the roughly two billion persons who live "in the West" and say of us that we are HYPOCRITES. We are LIARS! We talk about peace while arming with terrifying weapons; we talk about equality while committing, or ignoring, genocide.
