last time a checked, the result of our actions is something that we're usually made to be responsible for. Sex and baby making are not somthing that you can separate. The fact is, whether or not your body makes a baby or not is not somthing that you choose to do or not. The only thing that you can consent to is sex. Therefore, the CHOICE is whether to have sex or not.
If consenting to your body making a baby was a "choice" to be made then there would be nothing to abort, because you could just refuse to consent to it being there in the first place. But its there, you already consented to it being there when you had sex

Only the real world isn't so well defined, Michael.

First of all, just because a woman consents to sex that doesn't mean she consents to making a baby. That's why there's birth control and other contraceptives.

Actually not. Just for the record. If I have sex when I´m not ovulating, there is no baby. And there is sex involved. If I use a condom or something acts as a barrier, there is sex, but no baby. If I am left barren, say, I have to suffer a hysterectomy or my man is for whatever reason, there is no baby either and I can have sex.If I am over 55, I have no baby, NO MATTER HOW MUCH SEX I HAVE.

I'm assuming this twisted, convoluted logic is intended to prove that abortion is wrong?

"last time a checked, the result of our actions is something that we're usually made to be responsible for."OK, I agree with that.
"Sex and baby making are not somthing that you can separate."
Sure it is. No sex involved in artificial insemination.
"The fact is, whether or not your body makes a baby or not is not somthing that you choose to do or not."
Sure you can. Ever heard of contraception and abortion?
"The only thing that you can consent to is sex."
I can consent to many things other than just sex.
"Therefore, the CHOICE is whether to have sex or not."
No, as relates to pregnancy, a woman can choose to or not to have sex, to or not to use contraceptives, and, if she gets pregnant, to or not to have an abortion.
"If consenting to your body making a baby was a 'choice' to be made then there would be nothing to abort, because you could just refuse to consent to it being there in the first place."
No. One consented to having sex, not "making a baby."
Even if one is pregnant, it is not a baby. Months later it may become a baby, but while in the womb it is a blastocyst, embryo or fetus.
"But its there, you already consented to it being there when you had sex"
No, the woman may have consented to having sex, but in our modern age that doesn't mean she has to consent to giving birth.

rob , that's so funny. Just yesterday I was thinking that if fundies are so pro-life they should really be more pro-gay. No chance of an unwanted baby in a gay relationships. (Outside the horrific possibility of rape, of course.)

Hey Hawker Hurricane, you have a newsletter or something? I'd love to hold some of these idiots responsible.

Now personally, I do not believe in abortion. I would rather give up the rest of my life to support a child conceived by me, regardless of how ill-planned the union was. But the point there is, that's my CHOICE. And CHOICE is what I vote for, even if you don't agree.

Thanks to the marvels of modern medicine, and the freedom of choice supported by law, sexual expression can be a pure art form.
Highly entertaining, highly fulfilling, and much better than masturbation.
Try it some time, Michael.

Travelling and walking are not something that you can separate. The fact is that if you want to go somewhere, you have to walk there.
That's just as inane as your drivel, Michael. We do have many ways of preventing ovulation and impregnation, we also have many ways of travelling besides walking.
