It's true. If you read The Origin of Species, take every third letter, and rearrange them, you get a really great recipe for pea soup.

I don't actually see too much fundie here. This is a half-way decent approach to the scientific method. All flameofchrist needs to do now is to go do the research.
Of course, if she/he then claims that evolution is incorrect, he/she will then have some serious explaining to do, since we have pictures. And also DNA and fossils. And my cat has thumbs.

Actually you Mom is repeating a creationist preamble to loads of misinformation and outright bullshit.
Both Hovind and Comfort have claimed to have "studied evolution thourally" while they have only perused the literature to cherry pick phrases totally out of context to misrepresent.
