I mean, who is going to take a preacher seriously if his church is dressing like they are getting ready to go have a night on the town?
Do you judge the merits of a teachers lesson by how the students are dressed? Could you possibly be any more shallow and materialistic?
I wish the style would change!
In time it will, until then you have to deal with it.
The women don't dress too indecent at the church I go to, but they do wear form fitting clothing which is just as bad, IMO
Sounds like you'd be more at home in a muslim theocracy where women must be covered head to toe in formless robes.
can't someone teach these kids how to dress?!
But instead of talking to the people in question and letting you disapproval be known you talk about them behind their backs
Its enough that we have to be exposed to this type of immodesty on a daily basis.
You are under to obligation to "expose" yourself to anyone or anything you don't approve of. You are perfectly able to stay in your sandbow with your head up your ass.
Can't we at least have a safe haven to go to; to escape the worldliness?
You do, it called your home. Outside of there you don't get to have much say in the way other people dress or act.
I go to church to be taught the Word of God.
And yet you spend your time fretting over how others are dressed. Seems to me that your prorities aren't what you claim they are.
Shouldn't I at least be able to do this without someone's dress distracting me?
Sounds to me like the problem lies with you and not their clothing. Like your holy book says "If thine eye offend thee, pluck it out."
I could sit in front, but what about new people that come to that church?
What about them? It sounds like you are just making excuses so you can continue checking out the young females in your church
