Personally I have witnessed this, I work in a drug and alcohol recovery hospital and I have patients who have voices that tell them to do drugs, I have been told there is a satanic worship being done in Mexico over the Heroin that enters are borders, and have seen the results of the evil that entered these people. I have even had conversations with people that can not have a conversation about God, instead they curse God. When that happens I know what I am dealing with. Their minds drive them to suicide, or at least try I have witnessed that as well. One way for sure of knowing is bring up Jesus and how to be saved, youll find an irrational resistance. Hope this helped

Of course. Of course it's not the physical and psychological dependence that addicts have on their drugs. No, it must be demons.
Demons don't exist, and I seriously hope you get fired.
"who have voices that tell them to do drugs"
Yeah...their own.
"I think that it's time to do some PCP.
I concur."
"a satanic worship being done in Mexico over the Heroin that enters are borders"
Que?
"people that can not have a conversation about God, instead they curse God"
As traumatized religites and people of other religions might do to people talking about Christianity while they are trying to get weaned off of a drug addiction.

The phrase "irrational resistance" just tickles me...

Are the rest of the techs at the hospital nutcases, too, or will the patients get some actual treatment once you shut up about demons?
I'd say that I hope this idiot gets fired, but POSW beat me to it.
So you just move them from addiction to drugs to an addiction to religion? I wonder what your relapse rate is? Demons don't force addicts to do drugs, Addicts do, I should know, I was one.
No satanic rituals are done over mexican heroin, In fact most of the heroin in the US does not come through Mexico, but from Afghanistan by way of Canada, mabye they do Muslim rituals over it? XD
...oh... it's Rapture Rednecks.... Damn wasted a rant....
"Butterflies" seems to think that the slogan should be "Friends Don't Let Friends Do Demons." Maybe, just maybe, the problem here isn't actually demons, but might just be -- oh, I don't know, maybe all the FREAKING TOXIC LOADS OF MIND-ADDLING DRUGS THESE ADDICTS KEEP TAKING?
If their brains have turned to mush, it's quite understandable that drugs were the cause. I wonder what Butterflies's excuse is.

Satanic worship being done in Mexico?!
I am Mexican. I didn't get offended by Drawn Together.
But this guy does offend me.
I've worked with addicts too. They tend to be incredibly manipulative. Some of them are very good at it too: they'll tell anyone anything to get on their good side. Once they are there, they start extracting favors from their new "friend." Pretending to "see the light" when some one comes to convert them is a tried and true method of manipulating their would-be deliverer.
Butterflies, you have NO IDEA what you are dealing with.
Those voices come from the drug addiction, stupid! What part of "hallucinogenic drugs" don't you understand?
With time, it gets harder and harder to reach the first euphoria, and the side-effects are more and more pronounced. This world of seeming despair is enough for many people to want to commit suicide.
No need for magic influences, little Butterfly, basic chemistry and biology can explain it all.
Your drivel did not help, no. I bet you have been contra-productive to quite a few patients.
Drugs fuck you up , drugs are bad M'kay?
They're also ADDICTIVE. In what capacity are you employed at such a place? Nothing with medical training for sure.
She conviently isn't mentioning the very devout Christian patients who still want (not inner voice, a conscious craving) their drugs. Or that their religion has no greater outcome for kicking a habit.
Sometimes omission is lieing. She gets anger from the Christian patients too, they just express it differently, I'll bet she's been outBibled by a few that can quote Biblical support for their addiction.
Confused?
