Science requires more faith than belief in Jesus Christ. :D

Science can prove without a shadow of a doubt that stuff exists. Jesus is a character in an ancient anthology of religious writ.
You're a special kind of stupid, aren't ya?
....Keep in mind that I'M TALKING AS A PERSON WHO HAS FAITH IN THE SPIRITUAL AND THE AFTERLIFE.
Even then; I do see circumstantial evidence....but there's still no smoking gun.
No, Sassy, science requires more BRAINS than belief in Jesus. I know, that leaves you out completely, but that's just fine. You sit this one out, and we will carry on without you.
Except that science actually provides real, measurable benefits like the computer that you wrote that nonsense on, clean water, vaccines against disease, airplanes, cars, trains and essentially our entire modern civilization.
Science requires no faith because it can be demonstrated that it works.
So try posting on that forum using just the power of 'Faith' then, Sissy.
...thought not.
The Smallpox Eradication Program. That old Biblical favourite Leprosy is easily treatable these days. If diagnosed early enough, the onset of HIV is arrestable via antiretroviral drugs.
Science - 3. God - 0. The Hat-Trick of Evidence, Facts & Science destroys 'Faith'.
...otherwise when that appendix of yours goes FUBAR, start praying really hard, pal. >:D
In high school, I realized that most people do not know precisely what happens when you flip the light switch in the living room.
In my mind, this realization reframed all their comments about evolutionary theory. Their stupid, stupid comments. I swear, if you had an inkling about just HOW MUCH science goes into posting on the internet, much less driving across town, or flying to your vacation, all of it understood by someone, somewhere, who made it happen, you’d all suffer result envy.
We can keep food from spoiling all the way from Mexico to Maine, and leftovers in your fridge for DAYS. Let’s see Jesus do THAT.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
