Women had periods for 5,000 years without the pill. The pill is planned parenthoods liscense to fornicate. My sisters daughter was started on them by her gynecologist when she was 13. She then became sexually active because of peer pressure and the fact she could not get pregnant. She is 18 now with two babies and is living with said boyfriend, who is still legally married to his wife.

I'm guessing she gave up her license at some point then? Big mistake on her part, but that doesn't make you any less of an asshole.
Btw, in ye olden days, women had infrequent periods due to malnutrition and disease. Only in modern times have chicks bled every month.

NO WAI!!1!
The pill is planned parenthoods liscense to fornicate.
Bullshit. Not to mention, many women use the pill for reasons other than preventing pregnancy.

See, I *do* disagree with teenagers that young having sex. I'm glad she *was* being careful. But I'm sure you think that she should've gotten pregnant for being an evil whore, right? 'Cause using babies as punishment is always a great idea!
She is 18 now with two babies and is living with said boyfriend, who is still legally married to his wife.
How would that even work? (I'm genuinely curious, here.) o.O
"The pill is planned parenthoods liscense to fornicate."
Another fundie assertion, guaranteed not to be based on any factual evidence whatsoever.
Your sister's daughter has a hell of a law-suit against a "pill" manufacturer. Unless, of course you are lying(what am I saying, it's rapture ready talking about planned parenthood, of course they are lying).
For five thousand years she would have been 13, married to a guy who's 30, and would already have five kids, two of which died after several months.
Women have periods since the beginning of history and, 5000 years ago, they didn't know what it is. If you're telling me that the pill doesn't help to make the periods regular, please, let me laugh. Moreover, what if she has VOLUNTARILY those two children?, apparently that's what it is. What has the pill to do with this.
Yes, women had periods. They usually spent about a week out of the month sequestered and dealing with pain and washed blood out of her linens without the benefit of laundry machines.
Guess what else she did? She didn't have sex with her husband, or she took it in anally or orally. Anal and oral sex have been a long-standing birth control tradition.
Guess how old Mary likely was when she married Joseph? Thirteen to fifteen. Womanhood was thought to start earlier. The concept of childhood and particularly adolescence is remarkably new. The biggest concern with teens having sex now is pregnancy during education. Very impractical now that, you know, women have a right to a full education.
Wow, I guess you didn't think that through.
Of course, because you have the period, regardless whether you take the pill or not. The pill only REGULARISES your periods. Regarding your sister, man, she's living in couple and not in accordance to something that you have sticked to, not her. The pill has nothing to do.
So you're saying said sister then became (at age 13) sexually active as a result of the discovery that she couldn't get pregnant? Wow... there go my physiology classes!
Also, I'm really curious about this - judging from the last sentence, in the USA it seems possible to be illegally married to someone... How DOES that work!?
Well that's just super. Why don't you just mind your own fucking business and tend to your own rather than gossiping and talking shit about someone else's problems?
Oh, I forgot, you have to feel morally superior to someone.
So, what, you guilted her off the pill,
then she got pregnant,
now you use her story to tell everyone how bad the pill is?
Ten bucks says she went off the pill because you pressured her to. And I mean, face the facts, if she was still on the pill, fornicator or not,she wouldn't be in this predicament. And using a baby as punishment for one's "sinful ways" is just cruel to all involved. ESPECIALLY the child.
Idiot. The pill works in many ways, and not just as birth control.
You take it for three weeks, then you have a weeks' break in which you have a light bleed. This is useful for women who suffer from heavy/painful/sickening periods that effect her general health, or those which have an irregular cycle, as the pill regulates it.
The reasons the pill is prescribed for are complex and many. It is not a "license to fornicate" (spelt correctly) and those few who use it as an excuse to sleep around are irresponsible and obviously don't respect themselves. Grow up and stop tarring us all with the same brush.
PS - your niece has two children because of peer pressure? Wow, thats a pretty dumb niece you've got.
Confused?
