An atheist is kind, generous, helpful in order to advance his agenda which is to destroy people by turning them away from God. Thus, the atheist is, at heart, a thief and always a thief (unless God changes him).

If Christians want us to take them seriously, they have to take a good look at themselves. Although I know that there are a number who do, there seem to be an increasing mumber who don't.

So, atheists do selfless things for others for selfish reasons (what those would be is beyond me)? Then why are so few fundies "kind,generous,helpful"? (I was raised this way and am very familiar with their "sacrifices" for others and what that really entails) Are they selfish for selfless reasons?
A fundie is kind, generous, helpful (as much as they can be) in order to get you to join his church... and for no other reason. Watch how fast they abandon you once they figure out that "no" means "no" and not "preach louder".
If that's what God changes people into, I want no part of it.
The only thing atheists want is for you and your ilk to leave them the hell alone! Quit preaching at them, stop trying to convert them, and just shut up and share only if someone asks. How hard is that to understand?
You caught me, bro. I just help out my (literal) neighbours, stray kids, adolescents having conflicts at home, etc. little old ladies, and other random people during the day; then at night I go home don my cape and pointy hat and cackle over my cauldron at how many souls I have "stolen".
Oh well, now that I've been found out, I guess I can just forget all that nonsense and go back to church so I don't have to inconvenience myself more than once a week.
