My biggest mistake in life was believing that people wanted for me the same things I wanted for them.
Happiness, security, family.

Now I am 45 and I see people FIGHTING to destroy these things. Religious, social, political beliefs that in NO shape or form help the family system.

People helping people.

I am not talking about 1950 women being at home while men work at their jobs. That's nice if you can afford it. So I guess I am talking to working class and poorer people.

If people are poor then they need to stick together and build a life. For hundreds if not thousands of years people have banded together for one sake...survival. Now in our world of conveniences people are rotting.

Feminists are preaching that women should be "Strong and Independent" which is fine. As long as you are not in a relationship. I don't need a independent woman. I need a dependable one who has a morality that is based on helping and building a life.

I am independent and it SUCKS! However being with someone who is a leech (and I am talking about family here) is far worse.

You cannot love the loveless and you cannot make plans with a idiot.

You must make as much strength as you can for one another and than pass that strength to others mainly your children. In case you are completely blind children are being screwed over.

I came from a single mother family and the atmosphere was insane. I graduated from high school not ready for life but ready for 4 years of therapy and a prescription of paxil which I got in my thirties. I have friends I grew up with who are now street people.

In the spirit of equality I must question why women want to fuck a guy without a job outside of a relationship. I mean seriously, he had no job and you used no condoms and now you want child support?

Yet you`ve answered yourself in the very begining of your rant: We`ve achieved survival at least for the time being(and yes stagnation is in itself extinction on our level but the answer to that is something you`d hate even more, for now we ought to pursue transcendence if we ant to see this sun get old, at least for as long as our limited comfy time allows) so the female priorities changed from "Will he be able to feed and protect my children" to "Will he be the most compatibile mate for me and the best role model for ours". Simple really, at least for me it was.

It`s really a matter of adaptation, our family as a very flexible little social unit never had this issue, if he can`t find the work, I will, while he`s caring about our nest, if we both get to be providers, even better, we`ll open a workspace for somebody to keep our home tidy and as for our children, they`ll be cared for first and formost by both of us, work coming second and that`s as well for me as it is for him.

ps. Really wanted to thank you guys here, you probably never knew but your constant refutation of assholes, dipshits and assorted douchbags combined with this quiet optimism I see from many around here seriously helped me through the worst parts of my life and very directly led to me never settling for a dickhead with views like this(fuck knows many were the times I questioned if those caring, sensitive yet strong guys do actually exist out there). By my very nature I`m very susceptible to dipshits playing the "nice guy" card on me and it`s nothing other than some very insightful stuff I`ve read here during my lurking days that later helped me find someone who`s truly every bit as nice as he`s manly and empathic. Just thanks. :)

I came from a single mother family and our family life is leagues more loving and peaceful than that of some of my friends from nuclear families.

The days of yore that you reminisce over aren't as idyllic to many, especially the women who had to suffer the consequences of those that have an unerring devotion to the patriarchal rule, and the resulting unhappy relationships, abuse, and emotional turmoil that have occurred and were hushed up. If you were to ask a rational woman today you wouldn't find a response that would share your desire to bring that blissful nostalgia of the past back again.

As usual, it boils down to punishing the woman and absolving the man of responsibility. The man made the active choice to sleep around, only he doesn't have to bear any burden over the costs of childcare, so he should contribute. I bet you're against abortion too.

Alex was always kind of a waffler, wavering between sexually silly graymuzzle, and a super-"woe is me" old grump. Then he turned MRA, it seems. It was a good firm to drop him from my watch list, like when Jay Naylor started doing Objectivist pony stuff.

To all those surprised by this: The surprise seems to be the outcome of Internet memes and misinformation painting furries as a gleeful hive-mind. There are a lot of divisions, as in everything. There are furry conservatives (including one I know who thinks those Planned Parenthood videos are real, and the aforementioned Objectivist), and furry Christians (a few, most are atheist, pagan or spiritual.) And Furry MRAs. It gets muddled and confused because fantasy can be an excuse but as the incidents pile up it gets more and more obvious. It's like MRA bronies. They exist, shamefully so. Usually they are identifiable by being fans of Fall of Equestria or New Equestrian Order, which are what would happen if Gor was run by a fusion of Hitler and Caligula. Caligulitler.

This isn't surprising, justthe source is. (Fun aside: One of those Christian furries is my long time friend, a Southern Protestant who loves heavy metal, porn and motorcycles. Sometimes being furry really makes people better.)

Alex Schlarman was a 'good' artist, in the same way Orson Scott Card was a good Sci-Fi author; even doing the novelisation* of James Cameron's film "The Abyss".

Bullshit and more bullshit. I come from a two parent home with an excellent father, and horrific woman I care barely stomach to call my mother. Post traumatic stress disorder, depression, and a string of bad choices which are my fault. Two parent families are not always some idyllic wonderland dipshit. There is nothing that makes being dependable, moral, strong, independent, and willing to give and take in a relationship mutually exclusive. Hell I'd love to find someone who matches that description, and who would love me back. A woman being independent and strong speaks well of her character, it means she can handle her own affairs and is capable in her own right. It means if something happens, I can be at least somewhat assured she and any kids we might have will be ok in the long run. It also means she's much more likely to be an equal and not a fucking doormat. It sounds like you want a doormat Alex, and it sounds like you blame women for everything. So please kindly go fuck yourself and leave the strong, independent, dependable, moral, and helpful women to those of us who are halfway decent.
