The schools are now providing a means of abortion
Yep, that's what I said! It is a well known fact that a certain combination of the pills in the package will cause a first trimester abortion. BUT, many people do not realize that the pill, taken as it is prescribed, can also cause an abortion! Here's how it works: The first line of defense is supposed to prevent the pregnancy. But there is a second line of defense. If there is a conception (in other words, a baby is on the way), the second line makes the body so that it will not nurture the new baby, thus causing an abortion.

What happened Randy? Did you forget your anti-senility pills today? Is this why you are repeating everything?
I wanna give a retort of the workings of a chemical anticonseptive, but randy'll just claim it's the devil speaking.
probaly wil have forgotten it before he gets to the full stop
is he suggesting that pills have the ability to reason or detect pregnancy? Or is suggesting that the birth control pill could be used as a means of abortion and as such going to a clinic and having a procedure done is a waste of time and money?
Would be cool if they made a pill with a back up line of defense like that, but I'm sure it's too expensive for such a feature not to mention horribly dangerous for the woman.
nabey scaremongering is the only way he can keep the forum members from flocking to the non hyphenated T4C that is far less extremest and actualy allows discussion.
or mabey he is just loosing what is left of his mind.
I think that he's claiming that because there may be side effects of the pill that prevent implantation, it causes abortions. Never mind that there isn't any ovulation anyway. So not only does Bro. Randy not know how birth control works, he doesn't know what an abortion is either. Unless God performs abortions on all of the eggs that fertilize but fail to implant.
So, not getting pregnant in the first place = an abortion now?
Because that's how 'the Pill' works, Randy. It stops the body from ever getting pregnant. If taken AFTER someone gets pregnant, it can and will cause a miscarriage.
Oh, I'm sorry, you probably don't believe in miscarriages, since that would imply that God doesn't want women being full-time baby factories instead of people.
No, actually the pill, taken as prescribed (not in overlarge doses or anyrhing), CAN cause an abortion. If you get pregnant while on the pill (this can happen from time to time of course), and you don't realise it, so you keep taking the pills, they can cause an abortion.
And he's not even being redundant. "It is a well known fact that a certain combination of the pills in the package will cause a first trimester abortion. [you actively use to the pills as a way to abort] BUT, many people do not realize that the pill, taken as it is prescribed, can also cause an abortion!" [you just take the pills like you're supposed to, but it causes an abortion]
I hate to support this fellow, but he''s right. It's not really fun to make fun of 'em when they're right..
Edit: sorry, seems like miscarriage and abortion isn't the same thing in English. In Norwegian abortion can mean a natural, or unintended abortion, like a miscarriage, or an intended abortion. Anyway, the pills will cause a miscarriage, yes.
@-i
Eeeeeh...but if you take the pill with the intention of miscarriage, it's still an abortion, at least IMHO. That said, I'd far rather a girl be wise, and admit she can't take care of the child than bring it into the world, unwanted, and cause herself, her child, the father (Provided he hasn't bolted), and the family general misery.
There's RU486 and there's Plan B, which are two seperate things entirely. Plan B is a contraceptive that stops the woman from ovulating so that she can't get pregnant. Basically, almost the same as the regular birth control pill. RU486, on the other hand, causes abortion in early term pregnancy. It's a two part deal, where the first part kills the embryo, and the second expels it from the woman's body.
Just FYI.
If the pill fails, conception occurs and the way the foetus is nurtured is in no way connected with the hormones that the pill contains. It can make it more difficult for the foetus to implant or make cause abnormalities or a miscarriage but, if not intentional, that can't be considered an abortion.
No, that's only ONE, count 'em, ONE pill. The normal pill that women take is to prevent ovulation or implantation. There is no life when taking "The Pill."
Giga Guess: yes, if you take the pills with the intention to cause a miscarriage, it's abortion, but pills can cause unintended miscarriage, so they can cause abortion/miscarriage in two ways, like this Randy says.
I specified the difference between miscarriage and abortion because I noticed someone had already said that the pill will cause miscarriage.
A certain combination of them can work like the morning after pill... as in, it prevents a fertilized egg from implanting in the uterus. Which is one of the actions of the pill, in general.
Considering how many times this happens to women both on the pill and not without them ever realizing it, I don't think I'd call it an abortion. Or a "new baby".
Pregnancy, overall is recognised as begining when the fertilised egg implants in the womb. Before then, it's not a pregnancy, and it sure as fuck isn't a "baby". Also, are you talking about the RU-486 pill? True, this does cause an abortion, when the woman is actually pregnant. The 'Morning After' pill is a higher concenration of regular birth-control pills (as far as I know).
But, it doesn't matter; since a fetilised egg is more important than a 12-year-old rape victim to this shitstains. They probably think she deserves the rape and subsequent pregnancy for dressing "immodestly" anyway.
Over half of the ova that get fertilized fail to successfully implant on the uterine wall, even when NO pills are employed.
Nearly all women who have ever tried to get pregnant are therefore guilty of ABORTION! HANG 'EM HIGH!!
The schools are now providing a means of abortion. Yep, that's what I said!
Nobody gives a shit about what you've said. It's all bullshit whichever way you spin it.
Confused?
