Q u o t e:
Morality is relative.
No it is not. Morality is what is outlined in the Bible as the good and just way to live one's life.

So if it's not relative, you don't, for example, think that being gay is a worse sin than anything else?
Morality is relative. I have no problem working on a Sunday, or wearing silk and cotton blend shirt, but according to your bible, those are offenses that could get ya killed!
You mean like stoning women who got raped or forcing them to marry their rapist?
Or to kill all inhabitants of a conquered city, men, women, children and even the cattle?
Morality is mostly relative, but human logic can concieve of at least a few things, such as rape or child abuse, that are never permissable under any circumstances.
Seeing as how your Bible condones BOTH of these horrible acts, I have some doubts about it being a perfectly moral book.
Morality is what is outlined in the Bible as the good and just way to live one's life.
No, it's much better to have a standard of morality where everything is a sin, and every sin is worthy of death.

Sadly, World of Warcraft is the poison killing social life of many people and brain cells too apparently.
Most people who play it are either basement dwellers or high-school dropouts.
"No it is not. Morality is what is outlined in the Bible as the good and just way to live one's life."
So how many witches have you stoned lately? Still eating lobster I assume. Killed any disobedient children? How about wearing mixed fabrics or trimming your hair inappropriately?
Yeah, thought so. Don't claim some sort of moral superiority for your book of insanity while not actually following any of it.
Morality according to the bible:
Good things to do: Stoning disobediant children to death by entire villages, punishing the rapee instead of the rapist in a rape case, comitting genocide against people who have different beliefs, etc.
Evil things according to the bible:
Wearing clothes of mixed fabrics, eating lobster, shrimp, or shellfish, eating pork, etc.
Yeah, I think I'll go with my vastly superior and more relative moral code.
Okay...so then...you're against the war and death penalty then because surely, thou shalt not kill is rather immutable. But then...you're supposed to kill adulteresses and disobedient children, and basically anyone that gets in your way, so...yeah, please explain this one to me.
O, so genocide, killing woman for not being virgins, animal sacrifices, and child abuse are okay?
Suppose you hear in one of the towns the LORD your God is giving you that some worthless rabble among you have led their fellow citizens astray by encouraging them to worship foreign gods. In such cases, you must examine the facts carefully. If you find it is true and can prove that such a detestable act has occurred among you, you must attack that town and completely destroy all its inhabitants, as well as all the livestock. Then you must pile all the plunder in the middle of the street and burn it. Put the entire town to the torch as a burnt offering to the LORD your God. That town must remain a ruin forever; it may never be rebuilt. Keep none of the plunder that has been set apart for destruction. Then the LORD will turn from his fierce anger and be merciful to you. He will have compassion on you and make you a great nation, just as he solemnly promised your ancestors. "The LORD your God will be merciful only if you obey him and keep all the commands I am giving you today, doing what is pleasing to him." (Deuteronomy 13:13-19 NLT)
How very "moral".
imagine two close families, who both love each other very much, on an uninhabited island with only enough food to supply one family until rescue comes. there goes your absolute morality.
or just imagine D-day. or the holocaust. or Hiroshima. or the crusades. or every single persecution or war that has ever happened in history. you fail.
just because your sense of morality has never been challenged like this, doesn't mean you've got it exactly right and that morality is something absolute.
Confused?
