                people who question the right of the alien in their land and the quest for their own 'Roots'
Like the Cornish, the Irish, the Manx, the Scots, and the Welsh, perhaps?
Folkish
In your case, the correct spelling is 'völkisch.'

                Heil the bullet to the back of your filthy little head, nazi scum. Your kind started shit once before, need I remind you how it ended, how your your nationalist sows screamed as they were raped on the ruins of your cities, your disgusting ersatz for males dead in the trenches, run over by the tanks of those they considered subhman. Your kind has no more right to power than the bigoted parts of the immigrants you`re so afraid of.

                I somehow suspect you would just turn Britain into another Syria, with refugees sailing away every day in unseaworthy boats to the coasts of France, Belgium, and Holland.

                "In Britain at least, the long established Christian doctrine is all but finished and devalued and people who question the right of the alien in their land and the quest for their own 'Roots' find little comfort within the embrace of the mainstream Christian church."

PROTIP: The Abrahamic religions. The Vikings became Christians; I refer you to archaeological evidence in the Yorvik Centre in York.

                To correct some people here, Woden is the Anglo-Saxon form of Odin, and if I remember correctly, the other German name is Wotan. I think they all stemmed from the same Germanic belief system, but unfortunately due to the earlier Christianisation of the more southern Germanic people, little is known about the mythology then. Only the Norse equivalents survived long enough.
That said, this guy is an idiot.

....but Pagans are fine with "hedonism"! It's the Abrahamics and some Dharmics that are weirded out!
I swear! White Supremacist butcherers of Asartu don't know Paganism and Pagan values from a hole in the ground!
Or perhaps ditch the old Pantheons and worship a generic Mother and Father Deity.

                So let's discount British Christianity (5 major branches (of which the first is extinct), arising from changes in the 9th, 11th, 16th and 18th centuries)
So what are you left with? The Nordic/Germanic religions that this pale warrior's sole lonesome neuron has identified as his 'roots' is a more recent arrival in Britain than Romano-Celtic Christianity (which assimilated most of the Norse).
And before that? The Celtic religions (if that was the word for them). Why isn't Knut the Intellectual bowing down to worship Lud? (And don't even try to figure out what preceded the Celts - the loonies who prance around Stonehenge on June 21 every year have no more idea than you or I)
Face it, Toad-kin: no matter which religion you pick, they're all nouveaux arrivees .
Ignorant blow-in...

                @1910931:
Happened to live or perhaps screamed the name of their fuhrer as they gave birth to their little ubermensch? Don`t presume me defending anything simply because I show them no empathy. I merely ignore their plight, just as they themselves mostly ignored the plight of milions sent to the deathcamps. When somethig like nazis take over, you either move from the country or actively fight it from the inside, there is no such thing as neutrality in this case(in fact there seldom is on most serious subjects).

                @Skidie
Their plight? Who, in this case are they ? The Germans? The Nazis? They are not necessarily the same, although people in Germany had to join the Nazi party under threat of death or internment. They were caught up in the system. Why would you then ignore their plight? This is exploitation of the deluded.
And as for them ignoring the plight of those sent to death camps, don't forget the death camps themselves were highly secret, and the German people knew nothing of their existence until they were liberated.

                I guess the Old Time Religion was good enough for them.

                @whatever:
See, this one I don`t believe, deathcamps were hardly a secret. Other than that I actually tend to like present day germans, so there. If you believe this secret deathcamps bullshit, it is in fact you, who are laboring under delusions.
@Insult to Rocks:
You live in a murderous system without actively fighting to stop it, it`s crime enough for me. In cases like this there is no neutrality.

                Time to get gutted by a very angry IRA person with a deer knife, I suppose, as they yell for you to get off their land.
Because they are going to be angry at you no matter what religion you are.

For the record, facts don't really care what you believe.
Also, I don't think you realise this, but the Anglo-Saxons are pretty much the English today. Safe to bet that the OP is English, given the site name and the content of the forum.
