Harry Jones, brace yourself I about to blow your mind. Evolution is both a theory and a fact, a factual theory if you will. The reason it is a fact and a theory is that has been observed and scientifically verified.

When will you knuckle-dragging droolers get it into your half-pint heads - A theory is not just a guess, it's an idea that is well-supported by test results and other observable evidence. Strictly speaking, nothing in science is an absolute fact as science is always open to change when presented with superior data, however, many theories can be treated as facts until superior replacement theories are developed.
