At last! It is so refreshing to hear somebody talking the language of God. It is well known that God Himself assumes the worst of French people and it is beholden on His followers to mirror His holy whims. I might conclude that it's almost certain that God will chose you to be one His flyers and groinal greeters when the trumpet blasts. You will definitely be getting a special mansion in heaven.

I wouldn't mind betting that you'll also have a special portal in your mansion through which you can view me in my eternal suffering below stairs. It is very holy and very spiritual to enjoy the suffering of others from a place of comfort. Racism brings its heavenly rewards, most certainly when its the French that are being denigrated.

Hello Tangle. I live in France and you are right!

When I watch TV I am not surprised to see a modicum of nudity, all done with impeccable Gallic good taste. (Do you understand 'Gallic'? If not check a dictionary, if you have one.).

And when I go to the beach in summer, I don't wear anything. It would be downright embarrassing to do so when everyone else is not. You know, when everyone is naked, no one is naked, except those who insist on wearing something to cover a particular part of the body, thereby drawing attention to that part!

My view of much of America is that it is unduly affected by prudery and religious inanity. When are you all going to realise that you are living according to Victorian ideas and that Europe regards this with a mixture of disbelief and amusement?

But we find strangest that America can combine this straightlaced way of life with the desire to own a gun - a weapon designed to take life. Even nudity in public (heavens, did I say this to a RR person?) does not kill (unless someone in RR gets a heart attack at the thought of being naked.) This is a circle we cannot square.

Please join us in the 21st century.

Nudity in their commercials I get. I know that Europe tends to be a lot more liberal than the U.S. in a lot of areas. Nude beaches I get, as there are a few in the U.S. as well. Commercials to advertise beaches at all is pretty surprising, though. However, since you assure me that you are not joking, I will take your word for it.

Truly a broad brush you paint them with. Not to mention a morally relativistic statement. There is nothing in the bible that states people must wear clothes at all times. That you find nudity sinful is because of the culture you (and I, regretably) were brought up in.

Oh please... If God had been so horrified by the human body, He obviously wouldn't have created us thusly. You see, dear fundamentalists, you can't have your cake and eat it too : either God created us as He wished, and therefore there's nothing wrong with our anatomy, or he made a horrible mistake, which means your God is less than perfect. Choose wisely.

By the way, I'm naked right now, and the feeling of freedom is wonderful. You should try it sometime...
