Of the around 3 million or so years the Homo genus has been around, most of the time we were no better off than whatever it was trying to eat us. For the last 20,000 years or so we've been obsessively consumed with killing off "them" (i.e., anyone not of our particular little group/tribe/clique) simply because they're not "us". Now, tell me, how is that any more "logical, understanding or reasonable" than any other creature on the planet? We just happen to be more aware of things and are capable of a higher level of thought.

Genetic diversity and simplicity. More genders means more genetic diversity since one can't reproduce without the other. There's two genders because it's the least amount you need.

Try reading a biology book. It has to do with the biochemistry of the cells. To give a poor example, trying to impregnate a cat with dog sperm would be like trying to unlock a combination lock with a key.
