That type of Lutheran pastor would be just fine with allowing Southern baptist at the communion rail or allowing the head of a southern baptist seminary to give a sermon from his church Pulpit to. Most likely he is a pastor in fellowship with the liberal ELCA synod. Which is not in fellowship with confessional Lutheran synods because of stupid stuff like that. Its stupid to think you know more than God. That's the truth in love put bluntly ? (The 28 articles of the Augsburg confession book of concord ,is a very good and Godly reason we can't commune with southern Baptists .They don't agree with it.)

One day, these types will be dumbed down and fanaticised enough to kill each other, like Sunnis, Shia, and Kurds. On that day, run!

A Sunni, a Shia, and a Kurd walk into a bar and just stand there. Finally, the bartender walks over and says,

"Can I help you guys? I thought that alcohol was forbidden in your faith."

They look at each other, and talk among themselves, and after a whispered argument, the Sunni turns back and says,

"Oh, we don't want any alcohol. We just can't decide if we should denounce you as a group, and then fight each other, or fight each other to see who gets to denounce you!"

That's the best I can do for an Islamic bar joke. It ain't easy!
