I do hope Bush is able to talk to the Dalai Lama about accepting Christ into his heart. I would hate to see such a kind man burn for eternity in the fires of hell. God bless him!

They just... don't get it, do they?
Some of them are well meaning, but they don't understand that there isn't necessarily 'One True Way' and, even if there is, the likelihood of it being THEIR way is very small, given the incredibly large number of possible ways.
Of course, it could be the other way around, you know ...
I'm not a fan of Bush at all, but kudos to him for defying Chinese warnings of weakened diplomatic relationships by visiting the Dalai Lama. Bravo, Bush!
As for the fundie post... it's not even worthy of comment.
The Chinese gubmint always goes bugshit when the Dalai Lama goes places and visits people. I bet he has a stand-up routine based exclusively on that.

Wanting Bush to convert the Dalai Lama? I mean, seriously?
So I tried to convert the Dalai Lama...and he stiffed me! I said, "Hey, Lama! Hey! How about a little something...you know, for the effort?" You know? And he says, "Oh, there won't be any money. But when you die...on your deathbed...you will recieve total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me. Which is nice.

The entire concept of hell is fucked up.

You've got Oscar Wilde in Hell, because he was extraordinarily gay.
How the fuck is being Gay on par with being a Murderer? That's why I don't believe in God, or any of that afterlife bullshit. It's escapism and prejudice.

*sigh* I just don't get Christian morality, you could be the nicest person in the world, make world piece, even adopt Christian values, but unless you accept Christ, then you're going to go to hell regardless of your deeds.
Yet, it seems as if you are a Christian, and you do comment sins or misdeeds, whether it it would be stealing, homosexuality, rape, or even abusing a child (http://www.fstdt.com/QuoteComment.aspx?QID=56386 ), yet you ask for forgiveness, then you'll still go to heaven.
I just don't get it.
