I have to say until Plain was chosen I was really researching the 3rd party tickets. All of them! Even then I was feeling defeated. Now it is not so important I like Dobson feel she is someone I can vote for

Well, she WAS chosen to appeal to exactly this kind of crowd. After her big speech, the rapture index fell by 45 points.

McCain shot himself in the foot picking Palin.
I'm not the only one who thinks this. Several people who can, and will, vote do too.
This is precisely what scares me about Palin. Before, I was hoping the fundies would stay home or vote third party.
Feminists, perhaps it's time to express a bit of sisterly solidarity with Palin where these folks can hear/read it.
Dobson, the same guy who said for years that women should stay home and take care of their babies.
And then the only woman to make Dobson change his mind is someone I would vote against in the State Senate, let along VP.
The thought of Ms. Palin ever being within a 1,000 miles of the "Halls of Power" is frightening in the extreme. And fairly unlikely. I can't think of anyone who has shown any real enthusiasm for her except for the incurably insane. Her fans are bat-shit crazy, just like her.
BTW. Wouldn't a female veep be considered "unbiblical"? What a bunch of cowardly hypocrites who rail against any woman who earns her own living by her own rules and now they fawn all over "Buy-bull Bimbo" because she's as warped as they are.
It may be impossible to reason with them but, I really think the moderate majority are pissed-off enough that we will outnumber them at the polls. This time. I hope.
