Science class in Gingerbreadland?, that's why we need sex ed. Facts, monogamous lesbians are the least infected group, to begin with, and, for the record, nobody knows how AIDS came to America. What I can tell you is that it started in Africa, thanks to the blood of certain monkeys.

it really depends on teh specific disease, but typically lebian sex has teh lowest rates as heterosexual sex and homosexual sex (often) include more invasive penetration.
Also, it's unclear how HIV spread early on as it can go undetected for several years and probably crossed over from SIV in the early 1900's. Also, there would be absolutely no need for this likely imaginery journalist to be gay since viruses don't really care much about gender or sexual orientation.

Documentary on Sundance channel tries to prove that AIDs started with polio vaccine in the late 40's early 50's. I guess the Rhesus(spelling) Monkey carries the virus naturally. It's really just a regular virus that attacks human immune system, we always connect it with "sex" because it is ONE WAY that it is transmitted. According to the documentary, the doctors tried the vaccine on people in Africa near where their lab was. They don't say if the people volunteered or were promised something in return. This is just a quick recap. I know you can google the documentary to get the name. It was very interesting. Something to think about.
