“The only real doubts about God’s existence come from sin, from a psychological unwillingness to face facts.”
And you diagnose this because of your years of clinnical experience with atheists? Or is it just name-calling? Like always?
"God is abundantly, transcendentally, painfully obvious even to pagans — because otherwise they would not have bothered inventing gods if they did not know, deep down, that they were made for worship, designed by a designer, built by a builder.”
Not all pagan god are designers. Not all pagan cultures have a builder. SOmetimes they just ‘find’ the Earth and move in. And not all gods are really worthy of worship. But, go on etalking out your ass, you look SO well-prepared and knowledgable as you do.
“Modern atheism springs from the wealth and plenty of the industrial revolution, men who think they can live without God,”
No, it was during my search for god, that i still believed in, that i realized no one has any actual evidence, just the same bullshit answers, and the same attack tactics. It’s my fault for not seeing God, or for not being willign to see god, or some such failure on my part. Got boring. And my atheism was a realization that none of you fuckers know what you’re talking about.
“who then go looking for excuses, flimsy ones, not to believe in Him: Marx, Darwin, Freud.”
Never read Marx or Freud. Nothing in evolution actually argues against God, you’re just jumping onto a gossip bandwagon there.
The people that DID lead to my atheism? St. Augustine, "De Genesi ad litteram libri duodecim"
The Elders of the Church who believed a black Mormon could be a good enough Mormon that God would turn him White.
Reading the Bible.
