I don't think I'd be an evolutionist even if I were an atheist (a possibility not so far from my mind as you might suspect). I'm actually a pretty highly technical person by trade, and my opinion of evolution is informed by years of real world experience with 'how things work'.

I rate this a 3. It's ignorant and stupid, but not really fundie. He even hints that he might even have doubts of the existence of God. No fundie would ever do that.
Of course, there's always a chance he is lying about his belief in a god, which is the only reason I didn't give this a 1.
Never undersood mechanical analogies for dis-proving evolution, like the Way of the Master's video talking about aeroplanes. They actually end up sounding more like an argument in favour of theistic evlution - an intellegence designs the orginal object and it changes, developes and adapts to needs as time goes on.

So, were he to be an Atheist as he suggests is possible, but not believe in evolution. I'm curious to know exactly what his explanation may be.
Since Atheism is based in no belief in any deity, nothing could have "didit". Would it be some sort of weird spontaneous existence of everything exactly as it is now?

Reconciling one's faith with proven scientific fact. When not only they, but the Catholic church admit that Evolution is fact, you know you've got problems, mark-o.
