1) America votes in alot of liberals right before prophecies start being fulfilled. This would put a wedge in anything we could do to stop the invasion of Isreal cause we'd sit on our hands under liberal control.
2) America loses this war in Iraq because of the left and becomes a non-factor on the world stage.
3) When the rapture happens the Christian base that generally supports the GOP and pushes them in elections will be gone, thus giving the liberals an even better chance. Could you imagine if Christian congressmen/congresswomen and senators raptured. The power vaccum that would occur. Open seats to be filled by democrats having them control U.S. and then nothing would get done except the killing of babies.
4) With GOP out of power we have the left who is weak on the war on terror to stop all progress. I could see some terrorist getting in and causing major damage that could cripple us. Then we would be a non-factor if even existing at all.
5) Kerry takes our guns and sells us to the Anti-Christ
These are just some ideas of what might happen soon. Every religion is looking for their messiah. The end of the age is near. Yes Matthew chapter 24 decribes our day. I can't wait for the true messiah The Lord Jesus Christ to rule and reign the entire world from Jerusalem for 1000 years. Then after the 1000 years he is recommissioned and rules and reigns forever and ever! Come quickly Lord Jesus!

1) I'm pretty sure the Israeli army could take on just about any other country. For a place that small, they've got some inordinate military strength. Even then, they have allies other than the U.S.have lost the "war". It was built on lies. The reason for the invasion kept shifting. What's amusing is that the Republicans then had the gall to accuse various Democrats of "flip-flopping" or "waffling". Because ... you know ... "We've never been 'stay the course'." Further, at best this is a wash regarding preventing terrorism.
3) GOP members of the House and Senate would get raptured? Ha. Given the demonstrations we've been seeing lately of the Republicans' sad lack of morals (Yes, Hastert, I'm looking at you!), I seriously doubt that.
4) Clinton did more during his two terms to try and stop bin Laden than Bush has yet. Further, our borders are unbelievably easy to cross. Further, with 300M people, I'd bet that at least one of them is a terrorist. Good luck finding him! Here are a few hints. He'll have legitimate papers and almost nothing to connect him to any other known terrorists. After all, the hijackers were rather like that, themselves.

Historically speaking, Liberals have been easily as likely to engage in aggressive foreign policy in the face of military threat as Conservatives. Clinton intervening in Bosnia and Somalia, Kennedy and Johnson continuing the war in VietNam (ironically it was Nixon, a conservative, who presided over the US withdraw
), Truman dropping nuclear weapons on Japan, Roosevelt leading the US in WWII, Wilson bringing the US into WWI. Every single one of them a DEMOCRAT.

The role on the United States in the world community is not totally dependant on our “success” or “failure” in Iraq. The vast majority of the world already think we have failed miserably in Iraq. Hell, the majority of Americans think we have failed miserably in Iraq, hence the party switchover in Congress.

So you think that a single terrorist attack can destroy the US? That’s one hell of a big nuke. And even the Bush administration admits that there is very little that can be done to actually stop a determined suicide attacker. Our entire method of crime prevention and investigation is based on identifying behavioral trends in individuals and assumes that the individual in question is actually concerned with their own welfare.. By definition, a suicide bomber does not have a history of being a suicide bomber
And when someone wants to die in the commission of a criminal act, there goes the rest of prevention philosophy out the window.

So what, then. If Jesus has to reign for 1000 years here on earth, I guess you don’t get to see his triumphant ascension, do you? Besides, not one thing you just said in that paragraph is even remotely mentioned in or supported by scripture, you know. What's this "left is weak on war" stuff conservatives keep harping on? America's entry into World War I was done under Woodrow Wilson, a Democrat. World War II was entered under Roosevelt, a Democrat. The Korean War was started under Truman, a Democrat, and the Vietnam War also had its roots under Truman. It expanded into a full war after the Tonkin Resolution under Johnson, a Democrat. The NATO entry into the Kosovo conflict was done under Clinton, a Democrat. The only war of the 20th century entered by the GOP was the first Gulf war under Bush I.
I really hope there is a God and that one day, he would come down and say to these fundies, "You're all wrong." I'd love to see how they'd react. They'd probably deny He was God and never get into Heaven.

It's from 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17:
"16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever."
Linking this weird little Judgement Day passage with the acid-trip known as Revelation didn't really happen until the 19th century, thanks mostly to John Darby. Darby postulated that the Rapture mentioned in 1 Thess. 4:17 would happen BEFORE the Tribulation mentioned in Rev. His reasoning was that the Tribulation would be really really mean and cruel and that God SURELY wouldn't be mean to his followers, really really.
Are you saying the apocalypse is coming soon? 'Cause if I'm not mistaken, something in the Bible says that only God the Father (not Jesus or the Holy Spirit or anything) knows when that is. So you claiming to know that it's happening soon is the same as saying you are God.
