“Speaking of all the proof for evolution, you might want to read a book by a secular (meaning he is not a Christian) Professor of Biochemistry at Lehigh University. The book is titled Darwin's Black Box, The Biochemical Challenge to Evolution by Michael J. Behe.”
Behe.
Are you stupid or dishonest? Behe is a creationist, and testified (ineffectively) for the ID side in Kitzmiller Vs. Dover.
“It might surprise you to know that he does not believe in creationism, but he knows that Darwin's theory of evolution can't be true.”
He is a creationist. Evolution is actually crucial to his worldview. He thinks irreducible complexity proves that God HAD to be involved in the start of life. That’s creationism.
Pity his examples never stand up to scrutiny.
"You owe it to yourself to read his book, that is if you are truly interested in the facts.”
So do you, really.
What, you read a summary on a creationist page or something?
“Like I said, he does not preach creationism, in fact he believes we did come from a common ancestor, but he admits it can't have happened in the way evolution tries to explain it.”
No, sweetie. He DOES preach creationism, at the very start, and then evolution after that.
"What is my point?”
That you don’t know what you’re talking about?
“My point is that evolution has too many scientific holes to be true.”
Holes do not disprove the science, though. I mean, you ever watch an episode of CSI? Or House? Any legal or medical procedural? They gather a few clues, a suspect, but they don’t have a convincing case. And usually at least twice they come up with COUNTER evidence to their initial suspicion. Holes don’t save the innocent suspect, evidence does.
"Does that prove the Bible? No of course not, but it sure takes the air out of your evolution proves the Bible wrong theory.”
No, you fucking moron, it absolutely does not. Geology proves the Earth is a lot older than 6000 years. Archaeology proves mankind is older than 6000 years. And never went through a genetic keyhole like Noah’s Ark. And history doesn’t like using anonymous sources, which so much of the Bible is.
