“[Was Jesus ever married? Did he have Sex?]
I believe this question is frivolous and without merit."
Is that because you can’t answer it?
Jesus came to Earth so God could experience life as a human, to understand our sins, take our sins onto himself, and sacrifice himself.
Does it make sense that he never had sex, the source and reason for the greatest number of our sins? I would have to think that having sex is CRUCIAL to understanding the human condition. If you don’t believe me, read a bunch of incel posts. THey have no sex and they have no fucking idea how humanity works. They CANNOT empathize with other human beings, especially womens.
“It feels as if it is asked in a whimsical way.”
Might be, but others might take it more seriously. The question remains.
“Jesus was not carnal. Sex is the ultimate carnality. Although he never states (like Nixon said "your president is not a crook" or Bill Clinton) that he never had sex with that woman, Mary Magdalene, everything we know about him says he was a pure as the wind driven snow.”
As you just said, we don’t KNOW that he was a virgin. PURE is your projection.
If Jesus had sex, it would have been a pure experience, to please and join with another human being, rather than just to pump and dump.
“You can believe that he was lustful and acted on it, but I don't.”
Then how can you worship him if he avoided such a significant part of humanity?
“If you preach that stuff you risk getting Jesus really annoyed with you.”
Oh, NOES! The perfect Mary Sue of the Bible might be vexed! Whatever shall I do?
Of course, It IS possible that he’s tired of you guys portraying him as an unrealistic goody-two-shoes, Richie Rich in sandals.
"So...if I were you I would be careful regarding Jesus's so called sexuality.”
Thank god you’re not me, then.
