Here is proof that the big bang could NOT happen, when there is an explosion in space the object would have to fly though space at a very fast velocity until something stopped it. then why is the earth in orbit around the sun at the right distance and at the right angle so we don't freeze on one side burn up on the other. and did you know that the sun is shrinking at a amount of 3 feet per hour so if its smaller now than it must have been much bigger a couple million years ago, that means the ice age could't have happened, and life could not exist under trimendous heat like that.

I've got news for you, bud, the earth IS flying through space at a fast velocity.
The reason we don't freeze on one side and burn up on the other is because the earth rotates, not because it is at a particular distance.
And stars do not produce heat in direct proportion to their size. The climate on earth has way more to do with atmospheric conditions than with the sun being a mile or so closer. You do know that the sun is 93,000,000 miles away, right? Or do you think it's fixed to a firmament a few miles above earth?
3 feet per hour shrinking rate was proven to be false....in the middle of 80's, I believe.
I suppose you can't expect everyone to hang on the cutting edge of scientific development.
And of course it's perfectly natural to assume that if something was measured for couple decades, it can be assumed it has happened just like that since the dawn of time.
You can't mix the Big Bang with "objects flying through space" because the Big Bang, contrary to the opinion of many gained from its name, was not like a big explosion in space. Space and time did not really exist before the Big Bang, and the Big Bang was a sudden expansion of space-time.
Oh, and the rest of your post? Anthropic principle.
the object would have to fly though space at a very fast velocity until something stopped it
Who says it's been stopped?
did you know that the sun is shrinking at a amount of 3 feet per hour
I'm always amazed at how creationists will immediately accept as gospel the most speculative and tentative scientific findings from decades or even centuries ago that appear to support their views, but will reject the findings of those same scientists and even accuse them of fraud when they come up with something that runs counter to their beliefs.
"Here is proof that the big bang could NOT happen, when there is an explosion in space the object would have to fly though space at a very fast velocity until something stopped it."
The expansion from the big bang CREATES space.
What object is "the object?" Everything in space is moving at much greater velocities than you imagine.
"then why is the earth in orbit around the sun"
Gravity. You believe in gravity, don't you?
"at the right distance and at the right angle so we don't freeze on one side burn up on the other."
The distance and the angle were achieved by chance. The fact the it is appropriate for human life is because we evolved in this environment.
"and did you know that the sun is shrinking at a amount of 3 feet per hour so if its smaller now than it must have been much bigger a couple million years ago, that means the ice age could't have happened, and life could not exist under trimendous heat like that."
That's hogwash, followed by bullpucky and utter crap. Not only do you Fundies cherry-pick the Bible, but you cherry-pick the science journals too.
1. The Big Bang wasn't an explosion thank Fred Hoyle for the bad name
2. The universe is expanding
3. The sun is not shrinking at a rate of 3 ft per hr. That incorrect assumption is over a century old and was discarded by all rational people once it was understood our sun is powered by fusion.
4. I have bad news for you, there was more than one ice age.
<< I bet Josh wouldn't believe that Venus is further away from the Sun than us and still much hotter. >>
Sinister Minister: I'm sorry to be the bearer of potentially upsetting news, but actually, Venus is CLOSER to the sun than Earth. Mercury is closest, then Venus, then Earth; Mars is the next one out, followed by Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto, respectively (except that Pluto periodically gets inside Neptune's orbit for a while and is closer to the sun at that time).

Yeah, that's exactly what we need: a dumbass teenager on MySpace giving us scientific "proof". For fuck's sake; I'd wager that I know a lot more in terms of physics and math than a regular joe and I would still refrain from handing out "proofs". I'm simply not that arrogant to think I know better than men and women who devoted their lives to understanding this.
For reasons it would take me ten pages to explain here, the sun's contraction isn't due to consumption of hydrogen, but a pattern of spatial collapse and expansion that the sun's been going through all this time.
If the sun were -ever- too hot for an ice age to be possible, we wouldn't have an atmosphere now.
Woah... whaaa? This kind of jumps from Big Bang to earth, in a rather jarring fashion... *pauses to get bearings*
We can't expect them to understand this, of all things. The very notion of space and time expanding is nigh impossible for human minds to grasp as it is, let alone human minds fixated on things like "omg gays r bad" and "god likes smiting ppl."
The Fermi Paradox may be useful here: life could develop on this planet because it had the right conditions for enough time. This doesn't happen everywhere, but the universe is old and large enough for that to occur at places and times in it. There are milestones that may occur, like the jump from simple replicating molecules to more complex and stable cellular life (abiogenesis), multicellular life, sexual reproduction and natural selection (evolution), more efficient metabolism, intelligence. Or may not happen. Then despite intelligence, it may take a long time for a community developing and applying a superior knowledge discovery method, potentially leading to the capacity to learn about our origins and to observe in space. It seems that intelligent life may also potentially autodestruct. For all those reasons and the incredible rarity of complex intelligent technological life, "aliens" may never discover eachother in the immensity... It just so happens that we're alive here. It doesn't mean that life is meaningless when someone doesn't believe in a particular imaginary being or origin myth. Curiosity and knowledge discovery is a great motivation by itself. The joy of living another. False doctrines can also result in conflict, discouragement and fatalism.
