[Sometimes, people like me desire to think a little deeper, and want greater details (or have related questions) that the Bible simply does not touch on (like carnivores during the Pre-Fall)]
The only thing you can get any “deeper” into on such a subject is atheist thinking.

Ah, so you admit it?

Very true, which is why we have computers, GPS devices, hybrid cars, plasma TVs, etc. today. I'd rather not return to the time when chariots were state of the art.
Then atheist thinking must be what drives most fundies. They have no problems coming up with extra-biblical nonsense to explain any passage that seems to disagree with reality or with other parts of the Bible. How can a star be 170,000 light years away? The speed of light changed. Why did John list Nathanial as one of the twelve disciples while all the others listed Bartholomew? He must have had two names. How did Judas hang himself in Matthew and fall down and split open in Acts? He hanged himself and the rope broke.
Well, duh. If you stop at the point you're told to stop at, you're not exactly thinking now, are you? I don't think you'll find much debate on that one.
Okay, he believes in the Fall so he's a creationist... then WHY does he have the screen name 'unclemonkey'? Is he implying that he secretly follows the theory of evolution and is trolling FCN?
EDIT: Or it could be that his screename is unintentionally ironic, as is his post.
Princess Rot -- "Well I'll be a monkey's uncle"... It's an exclamation of surprise, a bit lit, "Well I'll be buggered"...
I think it fits quite well.

Correct.
That's a good thing right?
Oh.
OK, you just keep on judging a book by it's cover [of bullshit] then.
Yeah, God didn't give you free will to think about things, be creative, question life, or do shit like that in general. He gave you free will so you would do exactly as he told you to do or he'll see to it that you're horrendously tortured for all of eternity.
“The only thing you can get any “deeper” into on such a subject is atheist thinking.”
hey. That’s true. At least, that’s my experience.
I used to believe. I had questions.
I asked adult believers those questions.
I got platitudes that didn’t answer.
I got made-up-shit that didn’t satisfy.
I got blamed for having the temerity to ask the questions in the first place.
Eventually no other church provided actual answers, so I woke up one morning, atheist.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
