As much as I love my wife (who's name also happens to be Terri), if she were in the same situation, I would do the same thing as Michael did.

Her husband gave more than enough time and care to be sure that her condition was hopeless. Terri didn't wish to be maintained in such a condition and he needed to move on before her tragedy consumed the rest of his life too.

If, as the fundies claim, there was a rational being still inside the body of Terri, they consigned her to and endless torture of sensory deprivation. To me that would be similar to the hell they spout about so much.

What I don't get is this, if the fundies where right (which the medical tests showed they wheren't) then Terri would have been spending years more trapped inside a dead body being bored, where as now she is in heaven... Right?

I remember seeing pictures of cat scans (or X-rays, I forget which) of Terri Schiavo's brain, and she basically didn't have any brain left. Most of it had deteriorated so that her skull was filled with spinal fluid. It is ridiculous to believe that she had any capacity for thinking or feeling. And what does any of this have to do with Hitler??
