As far as I'm concerned, these qurans need to be taken to the nearest landfill. They are a blight on our Christian environment.

Sure, the Quran probably does contain a load of bollocks, any good, relevant, or informative bits it contains are probably just common-sense anyway. I've never read it though and don't intend to, life's too short, so I could be wrong. But the bits I have seen in English translation have not exactly been particularly awe-inspiring and so far I haven't earmarked it as an essential read.
Ditto the Bible. However the Bible I have read, and a lot of it is extremely boring, although a few parts are a hoot. However, like the Quran, any redeeming features are common-sense in any case. Small nuggets of goodness among the dross of violence and superstition.
That would be a great start, but you left out a few: The Book of Mormon, Jewish religious books, the Left Behind series, and last but definitely not least, the Bible.
Within a couple of generations the results would be staggering as the Earth would become a much better, saner, safer and nicer place to live.
Of course a few copies of Revelations would be preserved just as an example of how bat-shit crazy that religious claptrap was.
Alright. You're going to let us put all the bibles in there too, right?
Open your eyes. You can make a Christian environment in your home, your church, and businesses you own, but you can't make the whole damned country fit your mold. There are Christians, yes, but there are also Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Jews, Zoroastrians, Atheists, Agnostics, Gnostics, Pagans, Taoists, native Americans of many tribes. . . and that's only what I can think of off the top of my head. All of these people are just as free as you are to believe what they like and read what they like. What if they weren't? Guess what? You likely wouldn't be either, and you wouldn't like that. So shut up already and quit worrying about everyone else's gods.
As much as I dislike the Qur'an, and the Bible, and other religious books as a source of "truth," I'm not a fan of censorship, either. Better to let people read them, go "WTF!" and then have a nice intelligent Agnostic/Atheist "guide them" through it. ;)
Kidding, kidding! But I do think people should be free to read whatever they like, even if I disagree with it. It's when they take their holy books to extremes and start killing people that I have a problem with those people.
"As far as I'm concerned, these Bibles need to be taken to the nearest landfill. They are a blight on our humane environment."
I bet you're offended now.

Can't handle the competition? Doesn't say much about your religion, now does it?
When you people start calling for the holy books of other religions to be taken and destroyed, then the logical questions are "Who or what is next? " and "How long till they come for you? ". Once you start down that road there will be no turning back until our country lies in ruins, shunned and hated by the world. You would destroy the very things that make america great, that have made america a beacon of freedom, and to what end? What will taking and destroying the religious texts of any other group do? It won't make them become christian, and it won't prove that christianity is somehow more true, the only thing it will do is prove correct the adage that "When fascism comes to america it will come wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross.".
They are a blight on our Christian environment
First off, it's not "your" environment, the religious landscape of the US belongs to everybody so they can worship however they so choose, free from the influence of people like yourself, people who seem to think that it's their exclusive right to decide what others can or cannot believe.
Because God forbid you'll recycle them. And use them to print more bibles that way... Which reminds me: Are there any data of how many bibles are made from recycled paper?
Because, it would be pretty neat to have a bible that once was quran. Or vice versa.
Let us dump all copies the Quran!
They have so many references to that nasty Jesus person and his father the God of Abraham.
Burn the books!! burn the books !!
Oh but don't forget the government is evil and they are planning to take people's bibles away and burn them. Heresy !!!
I know for a fact Bibles are found in dumps regulary, with how many are given to people who don't care plus those that are damaged, even priest must dispose of them.
Qurans too, but not because they're a blight on anything. In fact, the biggest blight on the Bible is the Bible. Most you lot are completely unaware of what's actually in the Bible having never once read it. You think the Raptures in there for one
Yet if someone did that to your bible it would be OMG PURSIKUTUN!!!!!!!!!!11111111
Remember that do unto others rule from the bible? Yeah, you may want to look further into it.
Confused?
