Speaking as a former foster parent and as the adoptive parent of three former foster kids I can honestly say "srouge, you are full of shit!"
I normally don't swear in my posts, but people who would condemn children to spending their whole lives in the foster care system simply to satisfy their own irrational, superstitions prejudices infuriate me. Tell me srouge, are you secure enough in your beliefs to tell you opinion to the children you are so cavalierly condemning? Could you look into the eyes of a child who, despite being only 6, knows that he will never be reunited with his or her birth parents and that his chances of adoption are slim, and tell that child "I am working tirelessly to make it harder for you to find a forever family?" Somehow I doubt it. Sounding off to your internet buddies is one thing, facing the reality of what you are proposing is a whole other thing entirely.
