Egads. Don't you dumbasses ever get tired of regurgitating the same BS over and over?
I'll explain it like this, slooooooooooowly enough to hopefully make it easier to grasp.
Spirituality VS. Religion:
Spirituality is a positive force in one's life. It nurtures the spirit and places no limits on the individual, either physically or religiously.
Religion, while it can be positive, also creates supercilious monsters that are at the very least disruptive toward other people, and at their very worst they become homicidal lunatics and fanatics. Religion claims to have all the answers and restricts the thoughts and behaviors of it's followers via a well-defined and oppressive set of rules. Religious people live in terror of their deity of choice and his arbitrary and devastating judgements. Religions claim to be 'the one and only truth' and present their deity of choice as 'the one and only god', while presenting said deity as a wrathful psycho who resembles a schoolyard bully tormenting ants on a sidewalk with a magnifying glass.
Christianity is a religion. It isn't a relationship with the Divine and it sure as hell isn't spirituality. It's a chorus line of goose-stepping. It's a pyramid scheme. It's an abusive marriage.
What it isn't: undeniable, unshakeable, indisputable truth. If it were, there wouldn't be thousands of sects denigrating one another over trivial differences in tradition. You would all believe exactly the same and consider yourselves part of the same faith community.
You are an ant and your god is a bully. Whatever the two of you have together, it doesn't even remotely resemble ultimate 'Truth'.
