I don't get scientific information from media (I can only assume you mean news sources and such); liberal or otherwise. I actually look shit up that I don't understand in appropriate--unbiased--and legitimate scientific sources. Conservatives, on the other hand, appear to get damn near all of their information from Faux News and their fundy pastors.
Having done a great deal of research into evolution, I can assure you that it is you, my creationist friend, who is completely insane.
Atheists to Christians, evolution to anything, liberal media to Dubya, God, Pastor, etc.,
What are the odds that buhing513 has not only never researched evolution, but gets it confused with the big bang on a regular basis?
And since when has science got real media attention? Even with the misplaced fear of a black hole destroying the Earth, the LHC got little more than a fart from the news.

Is that "weak" enough for you? The trouble is you would actually have to possess basic literacy skills to read about evolution.
I didn't learn about evolution in "liberal media", silly-nilly. I learned about it during Biology classes in school.
I became an atheist through learning "too much" about religions. The more I learned, the less sense it all made, until nothing was left.
